Anybody else catch this from PFT?

I don't know, it could just as easily be explained by the mood of the crowd. Something tells me that the Colts fans would be far more pumped up and cheering with the Pats in the house as compared to a boring game against the Chiefs.

Doesn't mean that they're not enhancing the crowd noise, but I don't think Colts fans had much to cheer about yesterday.

Yesterday was an absolute yawner. To try to compare a playoff game or ANY Pat game to yesterdays "highly anticipated match up" is laughable. Makes those who bring it up look quite silly in fact.

How about people who were actually IN THE STADIUM saying that they heard the noise that everyone at home heard. How can that be passed off on the CBS TV feed?

OR, how about the fact that, when it happened, there announcer wasn't interrupted at all and you could hear him just fine?

Hmmm.. sounds to me like you just want everyone to believe that your team is holier than thou. Its too bad we all know the truth already. Your GM is a psycho and your Coach is person who uses the football stage to promote his own religious beliefs.

Dude, you might be psycho. NO ONE HEARD IT at the game. When it came over the TV, camera's were panning about, and NO ONE STOPPED to sat "WTF was that??" It wasn't heard in the stadium, which makes Kraft look stupid for complaining, cause he had no BASIS for the complaint.

Sounds like a stretch, to be honest. A damned if you do, damned if you don't. I would think if the crowd noise was just as loud, maybe it'd be a different story. The crowd simply isn't going to be as amped up against the Chiefs when their offense is stinking up the joint and having lost their previous two, as opposed to two weeks ago in the battle of the unbeatens.

Someone is silly in his attempts at denial... An absolute yawner? Your team almost losses its third game in a row, AT HOME, TO A DOGMEAT TEAM, and you are yawning? Your high priced PK misses two more critical FGs for the second week in a row, and YOU'RE YAWNING?

OTOH, I always suspected that Colts fans were bandwaggoners, fans only when their team is doing well.

I can tell you this: Pats fans would NOT be yawning if we were tied in a tight game.

I definitely heard the league's 16th ranked Red Zone offense being booed yesterday!

I'm totally satifised with the NFL's thorough 6 hour investigation into the noise issue while the whole CBS set up and crew were in transit to the next venue....

I defintely did not see the Colts mascot waving behind the goal posts while the Chiefs were kicking during the 4th quarter either! LMAO!!!

I buy it. I think there's enough circumstantial evidence pointing to the fact that the Colts might have been amplifying crowd noise. And as I said in another thread at the time, they either have to stop, or they'll get caught. Looks like they chose to stop.

The truth of the matter here is that there are tests that could be used to determine the maximum possible crowd noise based upon the number of fans in the stadium.

Or they could just use the base crowd noise from yesterday's game and calculate the max based off of that.

(1) So? If they heard the noise on TV, but didn't hear it coming from inside the stadium, wouldn't that immediately tell them it's a production issue?

NOT Trolling here. IIRC, he was basically told about the shenangans on the TV, and was convinced he had a case. It is actually kind of funny, from an outside viewer perspective, to watch these guys try to irk the other. Anyway, yeah, you could not hear anything in the Dome. It was all CBS. Now, I cannot guarantee 100% that noise is not piped in, I have been in the Dome, Market Square, and Assembly Hall. ALL very loud venues, especially for the "big games". It would be cool to actually be on the field to see what it sounds like. MSA (back in the Bulls/Knicks V. Pacers years was incredibly loud, but no one complained of piped in noise). I would bet a buck they don't pipe it in.

There is a big difference between a playoff game and that piece of crap yesterday. That game had FOUR missed field goals and 2 whole TDs. Just because the crowd wasn't cheering by no means indicated that Florio's theory is correct. Seriously, think about it.

The onwer's suites at the Dome are enclosed. Those in the box would not know what those in the stands heard. They likely assumed that if they heard it over the TV that it was in the stadium as well.

I have yet to see one person that was at that game say they heard it. I was at the game and did not hear it, nor did those around me. I have heard on reference to some YouTube poster saying they heard it, but there is even less acountability being anonymous on YouTube than being anonymous on a fan site.
