Reiss's blog says Faulk is injured, Maroney has foot injury. Is it right?

why wouldnt Reiss be right? his access is a lot better than ours

Maroney is probable..Faulk questionable

faulk got his bell rung, hopefully not seriously.

God knows about Maroney.... The guy seems to be made of glass. :D

Faulk is probably just out due to the increased awareness of concussion issues...he looks fine on the bench. As for Maroney ... well McFadden is looking real good right now.

If only we drafted Addai instead...sigh

All I'll say is this--I'm pretty sure BB could read the tea leaves on this particular game. Why risk aggravating any sort of potential injury?

[Even healthy players get dinged up pretty badly; either Brady or Vrabel talked about p***ing blood the morning after a game on a regular basis.]

Maroney said this week that he wants Dillon back...

I agree. Maroney is not hurt, Belichick sat his *****.

Reiss said he hurt his foot and his return was Probable. No need to put him back in.

Maroney was neither injured, nor benched. He is the only legit starting rb on the roster and BB was protecting his assets with a 35 point lead. The Pats had to give a reason for pulling him other than "we're kicking their @$$".

Maroney is fine, he was standing along the sideline with his helmet on in the 3rd quarter. He looked like he was ready to go in. Not much point in putting him out there though.

Probably right He was doing the interview on Fox radio.

They might need Eckel and Evans to carry the ball down the stretch some, might as well get them some work.

The first time they cut away to Faulk, he had the long distance look of a concussion to me. He got crushed on that hit, too.

I'm in the "why bother with Maroney/see what Evans & Eckles can do" camp.

After Maroney's gutsy play in last year's play-offs, I'm sure he can gut it out if needed. The game was all but over after the Pats got their second score.

The injury bug rears up its head again. I don't think the dings are serious, but you never know. BB keeps this kind of news very hush hush.

The background chants for McFadden are starting to get louder.
BTW I was listening to I think PFW and they mentioned Felix Jones as a possibility in round 2. I hadn't thought about that, but it could make sense if Felix Jones could be a Marion Barber III type back for us. Anyone know the scouting report on this kid?

Really? I'd but what you were selling if Brady didn't start the second half either. But I guess Brady is replaceable while Maroney needs to stay healthy...right?

im just always a lil confused by what maroney's workload is
just hoping that bb wants to protect him and thats all
at the same time, is it cuz he thinks he's frail, that he would wanna protect him?

I'll one up you. Why not just get Marion Barber III himself? We got the pick Jerry Jones desperately wants.

Running backs take a beating. I bet they give him lots of carries when it counts. Why let the defense take out their frustration on him when you can develop confident depth?

5.6 yds carry for Evans. 4.0 Eckel

He's going to be an RFA-it won't surprise me if JJ throws the 1st/3rd tender on him(instead of the mere 2nd).
