I know this has been said numerous times on here but I just had to say that one more time. Did anyone catch his reason/reaction as to why Pats should beat the Bills? What a little *****! How can one be such a hater?

Get over it. Seriously, I love the Patriots as much as anyone on this board, but we have to realize that NOT EVERYONE has to LOVE the Patriots. If you lived outside of New England, you would probably hate them too, be honest with yourself. He is entitled to his opinion. Does he come off like a complete jerk sometimes? Sure. Is he a jerk? More than likely. But he is entitled to his opinion. Just because everyone in the nation isn't salivating over the Patriots doesn't mean there is something wrong with them. Why do you even bother listening to what these "experts" have to say anyway?

Tom " The Colts were the best team in the NFL for 52 minutes of that game..." Yeah but they play 60 minutes.......

dont know what he said but we seem to have this thread every sunday .:)

My god he picked the Pats to win. What more do you want from him? Everyone here can't stand him. We don't need the same thread every single week talking about it.

he also tried to claim that Colts would've beat us without their injuries

Don't watch ESPN's show. I don't. You're better off with CBS, just put the TV on mute when Casserly talks.

Or you can just let it roll off your back. Because 90% of what people say is for ratings. The anti-pats sentiment is league wide, and has been since week 1. So since it's pointless to actually talk about spygate, they go on about how we're not the best... It's one sided, and entertaining. I love laughing at stupid people.

Did anyone see where Tom Jackson was advocating taking a 15-yard penalty on Tony Romo to send him a message not to scramble out of the pocket? THAT is atrocious, and should not be tolerated.

Let me say this clearly - the Patriots players hate Tom Jackson.

but i like the Mayne Event..most of the time. When Romo isnt on it.

Actually, I love reading the words "Tom Jackson is an idiot" every week!! I guess it just soothes my utter disdain for the itiot!:D

It's hard to imagine how someone who made his living playing sports can make an ignorant statement like that. Whoever has the mos points at the end of the game was the best for the game as a whole (which is the only thing that matters), and not just for the final eight minutes.

But you miss the point. The point is, as an analyst he SHOULD have some sembelence of objectivity.

what did he say? that we should win because we cheat or something? fyi .. i think emmitt smith has improved a lot.

Emmett is still pretty bad though. He doesn't have a whole lot to offer. I think he just says stuff that he thinks will sound good (but unfortunately he's not nearly eloquent enough to pull even that off.)

Maybe we should have a sticky, with the headline something like,"Tom Jacksons idiotic remark of the week" or something like that....

But you miss the point. The point is, as an analyst he SHOULD have some sembelence of objectivity.

But being objective means saying what he truly believes and not "trying" to look objective for objectivity's sake. I'm sure he believes the Patriots will win and I'm also sure he WANTS the Bills to win.

So tell us how that is objective.

He doesn't need to be objective; he simply needs to express rational arguements for his opinions. He cannot. He sucks at his job.
