LMAO......I just saw that as well. What a freaking joke watching the pregame stuff today. I have never seen so many Colt/Manning apologist in my life. Every show is talking about the poor Colts and all their injuries.

I don't remember anyone talking about all the players the Pats have missed over the years. Pathetic

Re: i think i just threw up! Casserly is unbeleivable!!

His reasoning was idiotic too. That first INT, clearly Peymeton was trying to squeeze it into double coverage, but somehow it was Moorehead's fault. He underthrew Wayne, yet of course the blame goes on the WR there. And the best one, where Manning was about to get sacked, but instead of taking a five yard loss he throws it up for grabs and Cromartie makes an outstanding play.

Tom Jackson has a Colt's flag (with pole) so far up his arse that he is finding it uncomfortable to sit down on set.

"If the Colts are 9-2 after the next 2 games (KC, at ATL), then we'll talk."

If the Colts can't beat KC and Atlanta, they will start circling the drain...and TJ will become so insufferable he will have to relegated to an out-of-studio segment with Steve Young.

Wasn't there something about where Moss would be going next year? I missed it.

You guys have a persecution complex - the "us against the world" thing is going to your heads.

There has been plenty of talk about the injuries the Pats have played through in the past, and plenty of praise for the way BB & crew have adjusted & still won despite the injuries. I remember the time Brown moved to defense in particular, but the Patriots' injury problems have not gone unnoticed by the media.

And you can't expect a team like the Colts to lose players of Harrison & Freeney's caliber and NOT comment on that, and how it will affect their chances going forward.

Normally not a fan of these "complaining about media guys" threads, but this one is well warranted. Giving blame to Manning for just 1 of the picks is a joke, I saw at least 4 that were his. All the Cromartie picks were 100% Manning's fault.

Glad I missed it. Shannon Sharpe was a no show today. I guess the Pats being 9 and 0 soon to be 10 and 0 is just too much for him. :D

One of the reasons for that is that the Pats don't blame their losses on injuries. In fact, they don't even talk about them. They just go about their business and they make it all work, regardless of who is playing. Belichick wouldn't tolerate players blaming injuries, officiating, coaches or anyone else for their troubles.

Most other teams do.

now maybe some of you guys will understand why I went off on a rant two weeks ago about Casserly being a Polian shill..."a Midwest GM told me...."...yeah, Charlie...tell us, what did Bill have for dinner last night...rumpswab

Cool! Can we go back and look at all the games in 2003 and 2004 when the Pats had even MORE injuries than the Colts do now, and all we heard was how the Pats were screwed, and afterwards NO ONE talked about the injuries at all?

Or...can we go back and be GIVEN the AFCGG since we had so many guys banged up and "almost" won?

Your premise is baseless, impossible to buy and incredibly easy to refute. This is a SMART person's site. Try to keep up.

This is a persecuted person's site. You guys hear what you want to hear. Personally, I remember just as much talk about the Patriots' injuries as I'm hearing about the Colts right now.

Whatever works for you, though; if you want to believe everyone is out to get you, who am I to disrupt your paranoid fantasy?

A lot of truth to this. At any given time a lot of the media and a lot of the fans are saying a given thing, and a lot are saying the opposite. Yet people tend to remember the anti-Patriots stuff and portray it as "everyone was saying" or "noone was saying", when in reality public and media opinion are never unanimous. In fact, the minority yahoos often scream louder because they have no other way to make their points, so if you hear "everyone was saying" it sometimes means that "everyone" was actually the minority.

heh...what are YOU doing here, then? ...are you just plain sTUPIT or what Gomer?

Re: i think i just threw up! Casserly is unbeleivable!!

Ootball does have a point, IMO. The media has taken a turn to the absurd this year, but some people here seem to be endlessly searching for new reasons to be indignant.
