I love the current CBS theme as well. It's a classic instrumental that won't go out of style. Every time I hear it my blood pressure rises, my pulse quickens and I just want to hit somebody.

The music and introductory as the scene pans to the beginning of NBC games approx. 1980-1995 (**** Enberg, Merlin Olsen, John Brodie etc. in booth).

The CBS football jingle before the one they have now.

After listening to the old CBS jingle,I for me its now a tie between the old MNF,and the old CBS score. I guess I just like old.

yes; that is my favourite one with a big big margin; i prefere the normal versions: Posthumus Zone; wow...i hear it many times a day...

is there a longer version that this one (2.10 is allready good) ? i would love a longer version...

i hope that CBS will keep it for many years

As someone allready stated the MNF theme sure sounds good after the summer is winding down and you are desperate for a regular season game,I used to like the old CBS and NBC themes also.

CBS would be my favorite. FOX being my least favorite.

I hate the overall FOX presentation. Horrible graphics.

Also I don't mind the NBC one at all, in fact I like it. Has kind of a 'epic' feel to it when the Pats are blowing out someone.

i do not line NBC jingle either...

FOX is average

CBS is the only one i really love and is my top favourite

Thanks for posting. Most of these themes sound like they were ripped from a Starsky & Hutch episode. I guess that's why I like the current CBS theme... it will stand the test of time better than other songs.

The song/music i really like is used in many places, mostly its used during epic battle scenes in movies, it was used in " 300 " and the pats used to play it when i went to the old foxboro stadium all the time. It was also used in the opening credits of the patriots super bowl video, the one when they highlight the 2003-2004 super bowls seasons.....

Its named O Fortuna performed by Carl Orff, its a collection of latin poems by Carmina burana that were found to be dated back to the romans....

Best: ABC Monday Night Football. It is the best music to hear after a long, long wait for football throughout the summer. I hate what they've done to MNF (the mid-game interviews HAVE TO STOP) but damn I love that dun dun dun dun dunnnnn music.

For me it's definatly Monday Night Football, the way it just keeps building, building, building. But all of them are good. In my opinion it goes:

CBS

SNF

I hate the new Patriots Gameday/5th Quarter music tho.

Posthumus Zone, the NFL on CBS theme, is the best. I even like the Rap version of it, called Rise to Glory. By the end of this season, there will be plenty of awesome Pats clips to lay these two tracks over.

Oh my god, the rap version is hilariously bad. Zero flow whatsoever. If you're a rap fan and like it you have no taste.

That said, it's easily the best. The theme at least. I hate the Sunday Night Football intro with Faith Hill/Pink/whoever. It's embarrassing.

Without a doubt, the best NFL intro music was the one CBS used in the 80s when they carried NFC games...

I liked the finish after the montage of clips was done and the live pan of the field at the end.

ETA: I guess this clip is from 1986 when Kemp was playing for the injured Montana. That was Rice's 2nd year so he's not yet getting the HOFer treatment in the commentary..."emerging into one of the premiere deep threats". Emerging indeed!
