Hey y'all, just wondering when you think the last time the patriots lost? I'm not talking about the afccg, with all the injurys and what not. I mean, in your opinion, when was the last time we were beaten by a team that simply played better? Oh, and I know that injuries are no excuse, bla bla bla.

if u dont count the AFCCG i would venture to say it was the game in miami....

but that 21-0 has questions around it as well...

b4 that, a game in which we really lost was maybe the jets game?

Didnt that Miami game come at time when it didnt matter? wasnt that the one fluttie was punting feild goals?

Remember that game agaisnt buffalo where they beat us 31-0, what the heck was that all about?

Buffalo beat us 31-0 when the Front Office fired Milloy with less than one week before the season started when he wouldn't take a major pay cut. Buffalo signed him. Our players (Bruschi was most outspoken) were furious with our Front Office. Belichick just couldn't get the players up for the game.

You have to count "that game". After all, it would've counted if the Pats ended up holding on to the lead and went on to beat the Bears in the SB. But clearly, the loss from "that game" is where the Patriots decided to pull all the stops to field a dominant all-around team for this year.

the afccg,

The last game they lost was the AFCCG. You can't discount it because of injuries b/c they are part of the game and there is no excuse for losing a 21-3 lead regardless.

The AFCCG counts.

For purposes of the NFL consecutive wins record, our last loss was the disaster in Miami.

If we go 16-0, we will surpass the previous record of 18 consecutive wins set by the 2003-2004 Patriots.
