Our showdown with Pittsburgh is just a few weeks away,With that being said, the Steelers are only 2 games out of HFA

Should the unlikely happen and the Patriots slip up during the next few weeks leading up to the NE/Pitt game and if Pittsburgh continues to win, that game could mean HFA with the edge to whoever wins the NE/Pitt game.

So the question is do you root for tattletaler Mangini and co. to pull the win and upset over Pittsburgh or do you hope the Steelers demolish Gang Green?

Since I don't think NE will lose during this time,I hope the Steelers demolish NY but if Pitt gets upset somehow (very unlikely but any given sunday) it makes it ever more easy to simply cruise to HFA and #1 seed.

Silly question.
**** the Mangina.

let's be realistic, there is no way Pittsburg gets homefield advantage.

I would like Pittburg to win to make the colts get the third seed and lose the bye and have to travel.

The benefit of the Jets winnign is the San Fran pick getting better.

My vote is to worry about this year and let next year take care of itself.

For Pittsburgh to get HFA they would have to win out the next 7 games while during this time they beat NE and NE slips up in another game,Unlikely but possible - Pittsburgh does have a cake schedule other than NE game.

A loss by Pittsburgh during any of the next 7 pretty much secures HFA for NE

Why would you want the Jets to have a better 1st round draft pick than the Patriots. I hope the Jets win 4 or 5 games this year. Enough to keep them away from a great pick...and keep them away from amn easy schedule next season. In a perfect world the snitch head coach of the NY Rats will be fired mid-way through next season.

like i said NOOOOO WAYYYYY

of course you root for the Jets. it would be great if they pass San Fran, and the next loss by Pittsburgh really hurts them

I'd rather have the Jests win. They are no threat to us at this point, so why not have them take out someone who could be? The further ahead of the pack we can put ourselves, the better!

I want the Steelers to get the second AFC bye this season, and they've already got another loss to the Patriots coming up. They can't afford to lose unless Indianapolis drops another game. The Jets still have another game against Miami to play this season.

Go Pittsburgh!

That's reasoned thinking, but I don't care. I get real satisfaction every time the stinkin' Jets lose. I hope the Steelers beat them 104-0

Pittsburgh is not a good road team this season and the Jets are still fighting for every game. As bad as their season has been so far, the Jets' players have not given up on Mangini.. yet.

I think it's possible that the Jets upset the Steelers tomorrow, but I still favor the Steelers. The Jets have an amazing ability to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory.

i wont be mad if Jets win ever game besides the 1 in Foxboro

better draft position for us if 49ers keep sucking

There is no way the Steelers lose this game. At this point they are fighting to keep the #2 seed and not let Indy slip in.

This is the philosopher's dilemma--do you want to see the glass half-full (JEST win helps the draft pick, Steelers loss helps in NE's bid for HFA), or half-empty (JEST loss hurts the draft pick, Steelers win hurts Indy's bid for a bye)?

Either way, the Pats win something. :D

I want to see the Jets crushed and destroyed every single remaining game this year. Seriously, the fans on JI are openly calling for teams to take out Brady's knees. I want that fan base weeping and calling for Mangina's head by the end of the season. GO PITTSBURGH!

Cold logic always trumps hot impulse. (Though part of me would love to see Mangini the Mangenius humiliated with a 1-15 record.)

So Mangini gets fired and is replaced by Bill Cowher. Is that what people want?

We lost some great divisional allies in Herm and Wanny. We are fortunate to have Mangina and Cameron. Let's not hope they get fired are replaced with someone competent.

Win win situation. A jest wins puts them even with San Fran with a game still to be played against the expansion Dolphin. A Pittsburgh win keeps pace with Indy who may falter and lose HFA. I for one, am not going to be the least bit disturbed on either outcome.
