Assuming all goes to plan and the Patriots make the Superbowl, im planning on heading to AZ if I can get a ticket for the game since my aunt lives about 10min away from the stadium. How much do you guys tickets will be goin for? anybody here ever been to a superbowl game?

I went to the 2001 Patriots/Rams Super Bowl but ticket prices were an aberation because it was so soon after 9/11. A quick look at Stuhub shows thier cheapest at $2900. Checked a couple of other sites and that seems to be what the cheapest is for the 3 I looked at.

Blasphemy!

The market will be affected by many things. Last time the super bowl was in Arizona, it was Pittsburgh and Dallas, so demand was off the charts. Tickets were much cheaper before the championship games than after.

With Dallas in the mix, you're taking a big risk if you wait until after the championship game to get tickets.

There's a web site that actually makes market for "options" for superbowl tickets. You don't buy a ticket -- you buy an option for your favorite team (or any team). If that team makes it, you get the right to buy a face value ticket for the game. Not surprisingly, the patriots options are expensive.

as BB would say "We are focusing on the Bills"

yeah, this thread makes me want to take my eyeballs out and burn them.

A better question is: What are the prices now for tickets for the next game against the Eggles? Anything after that is anti-Patriot.

I paid $5,000 for 2 tickets to SB39. They were decent upper level sideline seats.

One thing's for sure... you better be hoping Dallas and GB don't make it. You could easily save over a grand if a team like Seattle or Detroit sneaks in.

If that were the NFCCG, it might be wise to buy tickets before the game is over.

I went to Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston. At that time, the cheapest (upper end zone) tickets were about $1700. Last year, I did some checking, and the cheapest tickets in the same area were about $2000.

It was at least $5000 to get down to the lower bowl.

Oh, but I did get a Super Bowl seat cushion for "free"....

That's a good idea. I got mine before the AFCCG of that year, and figured if the Pats lost to Pitts, I would just re-sell them at a profit since demand would spike.

I was actually also thinking about grabbing a pair of SB tickets for this year if I could. I had a vacation planned for March and already have the money saved up, but it doesn't look like it's gonna work out because of work schedules and such for other people that were going to come, so what better way to blow a few grand than to go watch my Pats win a 4th SB?

The only thing that concerns me is how well you can see the field from the upper (probably WAY UPPER) section of a stadium, since I'm sure I won't be able to get anything other than nosebleeds. I go to a lot of Pats games but I have a friend with season tickets and we sit at the 45 like 7 rows back, so obviously it's great. Anyone that can chime in about the game experience 100feet up and probably 50 feet back off the field? Not sure if I'd want to spend that kind of money to watch a football game between 22 ants
