Straight up. Now they have a relatively unheralded rookie QB and a 1 more strike yer' outta here ricky williams. i mean come on, they have one and only shot at a win this year. And that their rematch against Jets. And Jets are so pathetic under Manicotti (just like I called it on this board before the season even started) that any other year they'd lose out from here too. But maybe, just maybe, they can beat Miami (again.) But I am saying if Miami has a shot at avoiding a winless season, which to me offsets a franchise's perfect season, that's the only game on their schedule that an "L" is not already dialed in.
Here's their remaining schedule:
Sun 11/18 at Philadelphia 1:00 pm
Mon 11/26 at Pittsburgh 8:30 pm
Sun 12/2 NY Jets 1:00 pm
Sun 12/9 at Buffalo 1:00 pm
Sun 12/16 Baltimore 1:00 pm
Sun 12/23 at New England 1:00 pm
Sun 12/30 Cincinnati 1:00 pm
My question for you Mr. Don Shula: after Miami goes winless this year, will you ask that an asterisk is put next to their perfect season? Perfectly perfect + perfectly imperfect = cancels each other out.

I hope not, how funny would it be we go 19-0 breakin there record and at the same time they go 0-16 id love it personally...

Impossible. Miami has lost 5 games by 3 points. They could very easily be 5-4 right now.

What's better:
19-0, 0-16 and, at best, SF's 1st rounder at number two
or, 19-0, a few Miami wins and maybe the number 1 pick. Shove it in Shula's or Goodell's face?

Anyway, as Simmons notes today, "Having San Fran's No. 1 pick next year is like owning a casino and seeing Charles Barkley walk in."

I'd like to see them go 0-16,and us go 19-0 what symmetry that would be. But I don't think the fins will do it even though their capable, before its all over they'll win a game or two.

funny how miami losing all its games is impossible....

but the pats NOT winning all of theirs is quite possible....

and if the pats go 19-0, i could care less wut the rest of the NFL does, screw them

I think their biggest obstacles will be the Jets {of course} and Baltimore. Philly could cause a few problems too. I'm sure they be looking for a way to hand the game over to the Fins.

Yeah I know you don't care about the rest of the league, the majority of Patriots fans are just Pats fans and not NFL fans.

I didn't say the Pats going undefeated was impossible, but yes I am saying it is impossible for the Fins to go winless. I'll put money on that.

It's not impossible. It's within the realm of possibility, of course. But yeah, they most likely won't lose every game. I doubt that will happen, but ANYTHING can happen.

it happening or not has nothing to do with its capability of happening....

the fins CAN go winless, its completely within the realm of posibilities...now they MIGHT not....but it IS possible....

and yea, who here is an NFL fan??? LOL, im a Pats fan, and I like football, show me an NFL fan, and ill show u a bandwagoner

That's fine, that's your opinion. Mine is that there is a 0% chance the Dolphins go winless. I can't remember the member but someone was thinking about making a charity bet on it with me.

You shouldn't be throwing out that accusation being the state of your fanbase.

My point is that a lot of you guys (not everyone, not trying to generalize here) are narrow minded when it comes to the league and that makes your thoughts and ideas completely biased.

I love the Dolphins and they're 0-9. I still watch them and still talk about them every day. But I can still watch other games and get excited about other story lines and games.

then tell us who they're going to beat? cuz right now other than maybe jets you're looking at all "L's" from here

Did you expect the Rams to beat the Saints last week? You can't look at a schedule and mark down wins and losses, any one can beat any one on any day.

As for the games I do pinpoint, NYJ, Baltimore and Cincinnati are all pretty crappy teams. Plus the Bills is another one I look at because they are just as big of frauds this year as the Jets were last year. They don't belong at 5-4.

They will beat the Jets in Miami in Wk 13.

I'd put the odds at 50/50 right now. They are a very, very bad football team, plain and simple. Baltimore is playing disgusting football as well right now though, and the Jets seem to have just packed it in. If I had to bet... I'd probably go with history and say they squeak one out.

I just want to ask if you thought they were a VERY VERY BAD team at the start of the year. Prior to the injuries and trades, this wasn't a half bad team. All the youth and terrible QBing since the Green injury leaves us with a team that can't win the 4th quarter.

It is a little more than this, their O line sucks and their D is getting old.. with that being said, after all the taunting that most of us took by the Jets and Dolphins fans in the 80's and 90's all of you rotten bastards can win 0 Games for the next 10 years and won't bother me one bit.

Your team is in serious trouble and there are no quick fixes for it..
