Let’s really think about it for a second... That is one SICK assembly of players. Im talking like “Historically” sick! Can you even think of another city who had so many legitimate superstars (IN THEIR PRIME) playing there at the same time!!

Enjoy it folks. We will probably never see anything like this again. :rocker:

Seattle had a decent little patch of players in the late 90's.

Ken Griffey Jr.
Alex Rodriguez
Randy Johnson
Shawn Kemp
Gary Payton
Ricky Waters
Joey Galloway

Not quite what Boston is looking at now and you can thank the Seahawks for it.

Only Kemp and Payton were basketball players.

If you consider Ray Allen and Curt Schilling superstars, then Marc Savard and Zdeno Chara have to go in this group too.

You also forgot to add those soccer guys who are in the MLS Championship (Taylor Twellman?)

Also, Dice-K is huge at least in terms of being a Japanese star.

MLS? Dice-K? You're joking, right?

To Claim Dice K is not a star is plain stupid. Envy is a sickness... Get treatment.

What? Dice-K isn't a star... he's a good #2-3 pitcher. How is that a "superstar"?

Dice K may be a star in terms of publicity, but I dont think he is a top pitching star YET. 4.4 Era with a 15win 12loss record is ok, but lets not put him in Canton yet. I hate the NY teams but in the 80s didnt they have..

Gooden
Hernandez
Strawberry
Mattingly
L.T
Harry Carson
Bavaro
Ewing
Mark Messier....

Pretty good list if ask me....

How about mid 80's Chicago teams... They had some superstars, I believe 8 out 11 are in the HALL OF FAME.

Michael Jordon
George Gervin
Dan Hampton
Walter Payton
Mike Singletary
Dennis Eckersley
Lee Smith
Ryne Sandberg
Larry Bowa
Davey Lopes
Gary Mathews

And actually after thinking about it, your list pails in comparison to some of the list.

Terry Sawchuk played for the Kings in 67-8, too, if you want to stretch it a bit further...
