Am I the only one who thinks JAX can beat the Chargers? They have a better record, and the way Indy almost beat them last week...I think Rivers and LT are out of gas..

I was looking at this game long and hard also, its a home game for the Jags(I think..)if so thats obviously a factor with the travel, etc.,and the Jags ground game which they will stick with no matter what....Gerrard is back....and I hate to say it but the Colts do have some starters out ,last I heard.Sounding better all the time....

Ooops ...scratch the Colts remark....a brain fade, but I agree the Jags can beat the Chargers at home.Chargers have not been impressive .

Jack Del Rio vs. Norv Turner........a matchup for the ages

:bricks:

No. Neither team is very good, so I'll go with the more talented team. Which is clearly San Diego.

The only reservation I have is that San Diego is 1-3 on the road. Of course, 2 of those 3 losses are to NE (9-0) and Green Bay (8-1). The third road loss was to a Minnesota team when APeterson went off.

Jax will win the game. SD completely blows.

After PM tried handing the game to the Bolts last week on an interception laden silver platter, they nearly refused. I have zero faith in Rivers and Norv to exploit whatever holes there are in the Jax pass D. They'll just load up against the run and leave Rivers to his own ineptitude.

Rivers has been awful as of late and I believe Castillo is out for the Bolts.

Jacksonville has a very physical, opportunistic defense and MJD and Taylor ar erunning all over everyone, plus they get Garrard back.

I definitely think Jacksonville can and should win this game.

Two teams you can put a fork into, the Colts and the Chargers. Even if they squeak into the playoffs they are dead meat. Jaqs all the way this week.

I think Rivers has lost his self confidence and worse yet, his team knows it. Add to that the fact that the team also has no confidence in the coaching staff and you have a real melt down in SD. Too bad because the team does have talent and does know how to draft and they are going to get low picks. A Cowher as HC would be a serious threat to the Pats even with Rivers at QB.

The game is at Jacksonville. It didn't take me long to pick Jax.

I'll go with the Jags, but only if Garrad plays.

I'll take the JAGS.

actually, i made my "pigskin pickem" picks this mornin, and i picked the jags. never even thought twice about it. lets face it, the chargers have issues. everyone talks about the bengals imploding, but did anyone read the comments from the charger defensive players? there's a team who doesnt believe in their coach. their done. add em to the list of teams who have gone in the shi*tter after losin to the pats.

Agreed, and this is the first time in a very long time that I have felt that the team that is the greatest threat to the Pats winning the Superbowl is a NFC team...Dallas.

....and we already waxed them once.

The bold is the key. Jax can be thrown upon, but San Diego isn't the team to do this. I'm picking Jax.

San Diego's chance relies in keeping the score low and winning with turnovers and scores on short fields. If Garrard plays, he's not a world-beater, but he's very good at not turning the ball over. San Diego's chances are slim, IMO.

Regards,
Chris

I like Jax in this game. SD is not a mentally strong team and it's shown on the road.

I really missed rooting against them with all of my heart last week. :singing:
