"While quarterback Tom Brady has amassed the third-highest vote total among all players, he remains behind Colts signal-caller Peyton Manning for the top AFC spot in fan voting. Packers quarterback Brett Favre is the league's top vote-getter among fans, with 458,837 votes."

It's because Brady is a sytem QB and only flourishes because of his coach and the talent around him. :bricks:

Not to mention how he throws pop ups that Moss saves him by going up and getting.

Apaprently we have leaders at 7 different positions, including Punter :rocker: :p

WR Randy Moss

LT Matt Light

KR Wes Welker (kick returner)

IL Vince Wilfork (interior lineman)

ILB Tedy Bruschi

ST Larry Izzo (special teams)

P Chris Hanson

Chris Hanson? Considering how awesome our offense is, it seems he rarely gets to punt, lol... i think he spends more time catching 'predators' :p

Where's Vrabel? Other than Brady and Moss, there probably isn't another guy on the team who deserves a Pro Bowl appearance than Vrabel.

+1. Vrabel has been dominant.

Why am I not surprised that Lord Favre is leading all voting? :bricks:

I think it's hilarious that a QB could throw 60 TDs in a season and get stiffed by the fans. That would end the argument about how relevant the probowl is.

That would end the argument about the aggregate IQ of NFL fans. In comparison, George Bush looks like a college graduator.

Keep your political rantings out of the football forum.

Oh, the irony.

Question from an outsider: is this just a matter of Boston being more of a baseball town than a football town as far as overall fan dedication level? I know the TV ratings are obviously higher for the Pats than the Sox, but it seems like the overall passion towards the team is in the Red Sox favor. Case in point this voting, Brady is off to the hottest start of any NFL quarterback ever, and the fan base doesn't have him tops at his position? This is the same city that had Nomar out in front in the 04 AllStar voting over Jeter (who I'd say is just as national a figure as Manning or Favre) and that was when Nomar hadn't played a game, let alone played flawlessly.

Apparently, you can vote as many times as you want. I voted 3 times already only for deserving Patriots.

Even gave Kevin Faulk a nod. He won't win, but he deserves a tip of the cap anyway.

How may damn people are on this site?

Vote!!

Brady has more SB's than both of them put together.

This has to be some of the funniest BS I've ever read in my life. The Pro Bowl & MVP Award doesn't mean Sh*t to me anymore. If you don't win the ultimate prize (The Superbowl) the other stuff doesn't mean jack IMO.

MLB fans and some football fans are obsessed with stats and awards. Fine, but the typical Patriots fan is focused on winning SuperBowls. It's a cultural thing forged by our fearless leader Belioli.

Do you really have to react like that like it's a political rant?

I mean, pretty soon, we're going to be forbidden from making reference to Lewinsky hummers, Nixonian "trickeration," Papa Bush's stiff-jaw-muffy, Carter's peanut head etc.

I didn't read the guy launch into a political speech.

I don't vote, nor do I intend to. Basically, I don't give a rats asss about the "Pro Bowl", and quite frankly, neither does Brady.
