I hope the Patriots decide not to cut a WR like Gaffney or Washington or you can be certain they will be picked up by the Colts who are getting very scary thin at WR especially with Harrison a ?? mark for the rest of the season

I hope they hold on to all of them so the Colts can't pick up any because these WR guys are all pretty good and it would only help the rival out.

I am sure Belichick knows this is likely and he will keep all WRs on the roster as long as he can but what he will also do to get Troy back on the roster is a mystery right now.

Can you imagine the Patriots not finding room for Troy and he is cut and picked up and signed by the Colts? - I would throw up.

Although Troy would probably go on IR than be cut.

Not really afraid of facing Gaffney...

I would barf all over the place. No joke, it would be sickening.

I have no qualms with them carrying 7 wideouts at this point in the season, particularly when 3 of them can contribute on ST and 1 of them is an emergency CB.

I know 7 wideouts seems like a lot, but this team is pretty much always in >= 3 wide sets, so it's not that outrageous.

Don't cut Troy. I would be crushed if he joined the Colts. Just because it would suck.

Totally agree but if BB does not sign him back up as a ST or as a backup DB what purpose does he have on this team and more importantly if we cut a guy is Troy really worth cutting someone over?

I love #80 but I don't want the team to cut a guy who may be an important depth later and I certainly don't want them to cut him either because the Colts I am certain are looking over the waiver wire daily and if Troy is on it,Hes gone - PERIOD!

Best case scenerio he is put on IR and still gets a ring

You know, it's not too late to cut Moss. I hear his work ethic is questionable and he won't be as big of an impact as everyone says.

Please?

Well the Colts are in the back of the waver wire order. There has to be other teams in need of a WR. They would be picked up sooner by another team.

NO,We need to cut Tom Brady,I hear he is pissing Moss off next to him in the locker room stall telling Moss he sucks as a WR which is causing Moss to act hostile and is affecting his performance at WR.
Tom Brady is the cancer of this team - cut his model looking arse NOW!

I hear Scott Zolak is tired of Radio and wants to make a comeback like Vinny,We should resign him

They wouldn't sign Troy Brown. I don't think he'd want to go there.

so there's your answer. Cut him.

Or Washington.

Would hate to see Bam or Kight a Colt, though....

??? Is this post missing a winky smiley thingee ?

So two guys on the active roster (one a viable contributor on special teams) being picked up by the Colts wouldn't bother you, but if they grabbed two guys off the practice squad it would ?

He would retire before joining the Colts of all teams.

Troy is a Patriot. PERIOD!

Troy will go to a team if the money is right and the time is right

Why wouldn't the Colts want a bonafide 3rd and long threat like Brown especially since thier slot guy Gonzalez is hurt?

Unfortunately Troy would fit the Colts scheme perfectly until Gonzalez returned then they would probably cut him but I hope we don't see this actually happen.

I actually agree with the opinion that Troy would retire as a Patriot before joining the Colts.

I think many of us said the same thing about AV after SB 39 - Never say never

Great. That's all we need is a 40-something-year-old cross-eyed former back-up to Dreadsoe taking over the reigns. We'd be better off with Lobel under center.

If Troy's kids didn't care about where thier daddy played 2 years ago,Brown would now be a NO Saint but his kids loved the NE area and he stayed with us back then,I sure hope they don't feel any differently now.

C'mon?!? Troy.....a COLT.

He'd never do it.

I know its something out of a nightmare but looking at where the Colts are at WR you just know a blockbuster sign is going to happen somewhere, somehow and Polian is guaranteed to search the waiver wire for someone decent who gets cut.

I just can't see the Colts standing where they are without Harrison and Gonzalez and putting Manning out there looking like Bert Jones which is what he looks like in the past 2 games - desperation measures for desperate times.

Blockbuster? What kind of blockbuster player would be put on waivers? A player that good wouldn't even make it to the Colts waiver slot.
