You still mad because that Cleo Lemon jersey you paid full price for is now on clearance? Or did Maroney let down your fantasy team because you drafted him in the 1st or 2nd round and he's yet to score? Cmon, me and my blind "glass Maroney" homer buddies here are dying to know.

We'll see who's laughing when the Pats draft a real RB in the 1st RD this year. Meanwhile, when is somebody going to answer my original question, which is WHEN is Glass Maroney going to find the end zone this year??? LOL! The guy has a grand total of 7 TD's in 20 career games and I'm suppossed to believe this guy is a stud? LOL! I can't wait until we get ourselves a true stud RB like we did when we got a true stud WR in Moss, because then all the homers who finally realized Deion Branch wasn't that good will be saying the same about Glass Maroney.

I guess if we were a .500 team or if we had trouble scoring, i would share in your feaking outness, but well we don't seam to have that problem. I have come to the conclussion that BB is a way better HC than i am so I'm gonna just trust that he knows what hes doing. If he needs him to run inside the 10 he will call for it, but till then i think I'm cool with what BB is doing. Also considering that Maroney plays in a platoon RB system, is numbers are pretty darn good.

That's fine. However, BB is the same guy that went to war with Doug Gabriel, Reche Caldwell, and an old Troy Brown last year. He can only play the guys he has on his team. I'm sure if he can get a better RB he is going to do it just like he did with the WR's this offseason. People think Maroney is better than he is because he is a product of a great offense. His YPC are misleading. He would be a NOBODY with another team the same way Deion "I'm Made out of Glass" Branch is a NOBODY in Seattle.

Was Maroney's 4.3 ypc last year the product of being in a great offense? How about his 6 TDs last year?

Ya, ok, what's his rank amongst RB's for doing what's actually important............like scoring TD's? Riddle me that ranking professor.
Scoring tds has been this teams biggest flaw....wait a minute!? You are a troll please leave. You are so ashamed of your team you wont even admit who that team is.

6 TD's is great???????????? Wow, we set the standards high here don't we??? LOL!!!!

Sorry, but THIS year's about over. Darren may get lucky and get drafted by some team like the Dolphins who last I checked were in desperate need of a healthy, franchise RB who can carry the load. McFadden might be a nice fit there. He'd make a nice compliment opposite of Ted Ginn, Jr. Guy runs like a gazelle.

well to answer your original question, Maroney will score in the next game. you heard it here. now your argument of the whole "product of a great offense" you can make that argument with almost every player in the league. Edgerin James sucked when he first went to the cardinals. why? Peyton Manning sucks without his favorite targets. why? all these guys get used to a system, blocking schemes, whatever. Maroney is a good runner period. He is in his second year. Lets let him mature a little more before we really throw him under the bus.

Or the way Joseph Addai would be if he was on Miami, or Buffalo, or Oakland or any number of teams.

When will Laurence "I'm made out of Glass!" Maroney finally get into the end zone? Post guesses here. My guess is he won't score a TD all year long as I firmly believe he is allergic to the end zone. He is overrated and quickly becoming a dissapointment. I calls em' like I sees em'.

BTW, I am officially the President of the "please draft Darren McFadden in 2008" club.

Go away...

The only reliable stat you can use to compare production amongst running backs is yards per carry. Since LM has missed a few games, it really is the only way to do it.

Maroney has 4.7 YPC and it puts him in the top 10 of all NFL running backs.

I am very happy with LM, I just miss our #2 punch in Sammy Morris is all.

Here we are 9-0 and on the verge of having one of our best seasons ever and this knucklehead choose to find fault. Not only that, he keeps saying "homer" like it's bad thing.

Simply put: not one Patriot gives a flying $#%# who's scoring the TDs, so long as the TDs are being scored. Neither Brady, nor Maroney, nor Moss, nor Welker, nor Stallworth, nor anyone else.* If a player gets angry that he's not actually scoring, he's probably not going to do well in New England.

*OK, so maybe Stephen Gostkowski and Chris Hanson are a little angry. ;)

Gost gets credit for the 3 points and the extra points...That's why Adam V is the Pats all-time leading scorer.

I personally don't think Maroney is that good as some say in here but I don't put a whining post about it because we are 9-0 and winning - If we were losing then its a different ballgame.

What Maroney is doing or does is irrelevant at this point,Until the air show faulters, then he must step up to the plate and deliver.

We can be a mostly 1 dimentional team and still win the SB,This offense is that good.

Maroney will score when the New England passing attack stops passing in the red zone and manufacturing passing TDs efficiently. Then that's when they'll call on Maroney.

Why, because I don't worship EVERY single player on the Pats??? No, I'm not a troll, I just call it likes I see it. Sorry if I don't speak the language of pats homer nation.

'I just call it likes I see it."

Speaking of language, I would say you definitely don't speak English

Why is everyone attacking this person like he is a virus, he has an opinion and wanted to discuss it. And I know alot of people question wether or not maroney was worth the ist round pick . I know when we have aquarterback that runs it in from the goal line instead of a back, there is something wrong. I think maroney is a good back but at this time I don't believe that he is the full package. maybe next year.

He doesn't want to discuss anything. He just wants to troll. Notice how he never uses anything of substance like, you know, the facts. "Maroney is glass!" Yeah, great discussion there.

IMO Until Maroney does 3 important things, then IMO anyone has a legitimate argument about whether Maroney is really any good

IMO I want to see Maroney..

1) Have some 150+ yard games for at least 3 a season
2) Hopefully stay healthy - 2 seasons and 2 injury plagued seasons should have any pats fan worried and on the edge of thier seats everytime he takes a solid hit
3) Break out for more big gains like some of his 2006 class has done so far on a regular basis in Jones-Drew,Brees and Addai

Until he does stuff like this on a continuous basis, frankly I am not impressed and that to me means those stats all the homers demonstrate does not prove hes the best of 2006 RB class - it just proves his stats are better.

Better stats don't always mean better overall player,it takes more than that to me.
