Thought he made a good point.

He said, so now Manning is missing his weapons and he is playing very poorly.

He said he still had Wayne, a pro bowler and Adai.

He then went on to say that was still more talent then Brady had surrounding him during his three Superbowls.

I can certainly say that Manning had more offensive talent surrounding him out there today then Brady had last season.

Manning had 50% more picks today in one game than Brady in the entire season to date. LOL.

Deion Sanders is becoming one of the staunchest Pats supporters, along with Jimmy Johnson and other 90's Cowboys guys and 80's Giants guys.

where did all the Colt fans go that were here a short while ago?

Re: Dieon Sanders "we need to revisit Manning VS Brady"

2001: Brown, Patten, Wiggens, Charles Johnson and Antowain Smith may be close to a wash with what the Colts had on the field tonight.

2003: Branch, Givens, Graham, Patten, Antowain Smith and Brown are better than what the Colts had out there tonight.

2004: Branch, Givens, Graham, Patten, Corey Dillon and Brown are far better than what the Colts had on the field tonight.

2005: Caldwell, Gaffney, Brown, Graham, Watson, Dillon, Maroney, Brown and Jackson is better than what the Colts had on the field tonight. The Colts had Wayne, Moorehead, Thorpe and a bunch of TE's. I give the edge to the Pats in terms of better recievers to throw to.

Granted, Manning was missing his top three recievers and I see this game as a fluke. The rain may have played a part as well in throwing 6 INT's. Rivers looked like a chump as well.

16 td's 10 ints on this season. Sounds very average to me.

Re: Dieon Sanders "we need to revisit Manning VS Brady"

Brady had a healthy freakin o-line we were on our 3rd string LT and we moved guys in places they normally don't play.

When we mashed tampa this year no one had a word to say.

Sucks not having all your key guys on the field? We had that problem during your little streak against us.

Come back when your Colts get leveled in the playoffs and try your excuses again. We still won't buy them.

hey, the colts o-line held up even with 3rd stringers... so thats not an excuse..

Great team overcome injuries. Besides 4 of those picks by Peyton have no recievers in sight. One pick where Wayne just go LA LA mode.

In 2003 and 2004 the Patriots used over 40 different starters due to injury and had to move guys into new positions. Welcome to the NFL. You play the teams on your schedule with the players you have available.

'01 may be a wash
'03 hell no. Wayne is a 1000 yard receiver with loads of talent, Thorpe played well, and Addai is a Pro Bowl back. Branch is slightly above average, Givens was nothing spectacular in '03, and Smith is and was garbage. No way in hell. Quality over quantity.
'04 I agree.
'05 Does not even need to be argued, almost all of the Patriots players, with the exception of Watson and the combo of Dillon & Maroney are nothing more than replacement players. And the three real talents last year all spent time sidelined with injuries/age.

There is no comparison.

Re: Dieon Sanders "we need to revisit Manning VS Brady"

My point is Brady didn't go through that not even for one game.

not THIS year, with any other year, its not even a comparison

In 2005 We lost Light and Koppen for the year. Seriously you shouldn't go the injury route, we've been down that road for years ourselves, hell we paved and widened the road. ;)

Sorry moron, Russ Hochstein was starting for us in at least one Super Bowl. Troy Brown was playing offense and defense because we were so decimated injuries.

Ummm ... In SB36 the Pats had Grant "turnstile" Williams at LT for the majority of the game - Yet the killer Rams DL did squat.

In SB37, Russ Hochstein was a fill-in center, plus they had a very young right side, facing a great (if not phenominal) Panthers DL ... And the Pats owned them.

The reason? Patriots 2nd and 3rd stringers step up when called. The team leaders hold them to the same standards they hold themselves to.

Re: Dieon Sanders "we need to revisit Manning VS Brady"

Uh, go back and take a look at the 2005 season.
