Not sure if anyone saw it. They showed 2 plays when rodney was lined in slot with wayne. the first time rodney released him and wayne was wide open but manning went to gonzalez for an imcompletion. the 2nd time around the same formation but this time rodney covered wayne and got the int .
let me to think 2 things. all the people harping how manning was missing marvin , seems like they missed some chances.
secondly, it seems manning and the colts in general were missing their o line stablity more than marvin which probably let to manning finding the first open guy and throw to quickly. if manning was sure of his pocket protection like in the past yrs , it seems he wouldve waited a bit and hit wayne.
Grasping on straws to discusss but hey its the bye week.

the pressure the pats gone on manning last week was much like the pats got on him in the championship game except the pass rush slowed down right before the half and was non exsistent in the second half.

manning has been rattled before and will be rattled again.

That sounds like a setup play. Going back to the film I would assume both the Patriots and Colts saw Wayne wide open. Knowing this the next time Rodney went to the slot to cover Wayne he would go with him instead of releasing him. IMO.
