When they played the titans in foxboro in the playoffs...i want to say 03??Coldest game in foxboro history. It was about 6 degrees with a wind chill of like -19 lol

85 (I think) 4PM Game v. The Jets. Pat Ryan gets knocked out of the game, and The Patriots win on a NAKED BOOTLEG LIMP from Steve Grogan late in the 4th.

85 in the rain vs. Miami. Patriots win. I don't remember the score, but it's one of the last memories I have with my Grandfather before he got Alzheimer's.

85 v. Cincinatti. Patriots secure a playoff win with the victory. I remember the goal posts being torn down, and then heading out to the car, I remember the ambulances and stuff all over the place, because one of the dudes carrying it got electrocuted.

88 - The Doug Flutie game during the strike. Also, I'll never forget Major Everett tearing up the Patriots v. the Browns during the strike.

94- Bledsoe OT comeback vs. Minnesota.

96- Freakin Monsoon v. the Jets. I have no idea who won. I was completely hammered.

01- v. Buffalo. Antowain Smith closes it out with a 40+ yarder for a TD. Also, Rob Johnson gets knocked out, which was fun, because I was like 3 rows up behind the Buffalo bench, and calling him a ***** the whole game.

01- Div. Playoffs v. Oakland- How can people scream so loud and it sounds like nothing?

04- Season opener v. Indy. I saw Vanderjagt do the "money" sign thing, and then push it wide right. Oh yeah, they raised a banner; Lenny Kravitz was there, and the Patriots opened up 5-wide, shocking everyone, because Corey Dillon was on the bench. Everyone was all "Where the **** is Corey"?

There's many more, but those are my favorites.

First game I ever attended. 1976 versus the Raiders. I saved my paper route money so we could take a bus trip down from the Albany area. I think the end zone ticket cost $6 and including the bus it was probably about $20-$25. Behind a young Steve Grogan the Pats blew out Oakland - I think the final was 48-17. We had a great time and I've been hooked ever since.

Unfortunately, thanks to Ben Dreith the rematch didn't go quite as well..........

2005 wild card playoffs vs Jacksonville. Section 134 25 rows back I believe around seats 10-17.

So much better than the Cleveland game this year. We were stuck at the stadium because the taxi cab service said they would be where they dropped us off but they werent. So me and my dad just stood in the employe parking lot waiting. Then one of the last people to leave the stadium was a group of people from our hotel and one guy was just plastered. We followed them and got home. It was an awesome night.

Are you sure THAT was the coldest game ever?

I was at the Tampa/Pats game in '88. IT WAS COOOOLD!! It was -3 (I think) and that was before weathermen even starting recording and talking about Chill Factors!

To date, it's the ONLY game that I've actually used a blanket.

To top it off, it went into OT. Was a great ending since the Pat's actually WON. (up until then, they were like 0 and 19 in OT..an NFL record)

I remember thinking "DAMN..it's sooo cold just get this game over with!!" (even the flasks of Jack we snuck in weren't keeping us warm!)

BTW.. guess who the QB from Tampa was......Vinny Testaverde!! (another great Pats memory)

Vinatieri kicking the winner in SB38. The most emotionally draining football game I will ever see.

No I think this dude is right. I was at the '03 game vs the Titans... and it was DEFINITELY the coldest game in history. I remember them saying it on WBCN before the game.

Bro...It was so freezing outside that our beer kept (literally) freezing before we could finish them off. I had to keep my car running with the heat blasting and the case on the floor to try and keep the beer WARM

I had on like 6 or 7 layers, a ski mask, and hand and foot warmers stashed all over the place... (And I mean ALL OVER THE PLACE! lol).

Needless to say, it was a pain in the arss every time I had to go take a leak...

It was a good memory... but man; it was freezing out that night. To make matters worse, the game came down to the final play (I think Wheelchair Mcnair threw an incompletion to Tyrone Calico on the last play of the game).

I had an EZ seat, and I remember Danny Graham dropped a sure TD on like the first drive of the game... When the ball hit his fingers you could hear it "thud". Our whole section let out a collective "ahhhh"... Partly because he dropped a sure TD, and partly because it hurt our "freezing" hands hurt just hearing the ball crack off of his.

The Monday Night Game vs. the Steelers in '02.

My father in law visited a few days before that game (a Patriots hater) and he left the afternoon of that game. As he was going out the door, with one last attempt to dominate me he promised me that the Steelers were going to smoke the Patriots like a side of bacon that night.

Of course the oracle was on the road and not available for comment for a few days after that annihilation.

That was quite a night. It really was well-timed with the advent of the dynasty. The season wasn't so great, but not all of them are.

This is the game I came here to mention, too! Last game of the season, needed a W to make playoffs, GAME BLACKED OUT! So 2 of my brothers and a buddy and I bought seats at the back row of the endzone. We still refer to ourselves as the Gang of Four. I made a memorable over-the-wall catch of the audience nerf football. It was F-R-E-E-Z-I-N-G.

Stanley Morgan caught a bomb right down the middle, from Grogan I think. It was still a game late until Craig James --- the best one-season RB the Pats ever had until Dillon '04 --- ran about 32 yards for a TD late in the 4th quarter to ice it.

We went on the field, but were not the ones who ripped the goalposts down, or the ones who had lightning shoot out their penises on Route 1. (At first the Pats offered tickets or something to the hospitalized fan, then their lawyers talked to them and they prosecuted instead.)

Wish I could remember the year but I was lucky enough to get tickets on the 40 yard line right behind the Patriots bench. Jimmy Hitch**** and some of the other players turned around and waved at me. My boyfriend, at the time waved back. :)

I was at this game as well. Don't remember if the tix were given to me or bought myself, but I had forgotten the year. So if 88 is right, I was a freshman in college. My thoughts exactly...get this damn game OVER with! Our luck...went to OT.

It's memories like this game that make me appreciate the team so much more.
