Anyone know what our picks are at this point? Obviously we have the SF pick in round 1, and don't have our own #1. How about rounds 2 thru 7? Do we just have our own? Didn't we pick up Oakland's 3rd rounder? Did we trade any away last year?

Update: I found a list of draft pick trades, etc. for the 2008 draft (below). We have:
- SF's (high) 1st
- our (low) 2nd
- Oakland's (high) 3rd
- our (low) 3rd
- our (low) 4th
- our (low) 5th
- our (low) 6th
- our (low) 7th

1st round
Dallas has a #1 from Cleveland (2007 draft day trade/QB Brady Quinn)
New England has a #1 from San Francisco (2007 draft trade)
New England forfeits its #1 if the Patriots make the playoffs; or 2nd and 3rd rounders if they don't)
San Francisco has a #1 from Indianapolis (2007 draft trade)

2nd round
Atlanta has a #3 from Houston (QB Matt Schaub)
Miami has a #2 from San Diego (WR Chris Chambers)

3rd round
Buffalo has a #3 from Baltimore (RB Willis McGahee)
Chicago has a #3 from San Diego (2007 draft trade)
New England has a #3 from Oakland (2007 draft trade)
Minnesota has a #3 from Denver (2007 draft trade/ DT Marcus Thomas)

4th round
Denver has a 4th from Washington (WR Ashley Lelie as part of deal with Atlanta)
San Diego forfeits its #4 pick (CB Paul Oliver - 2007 supplemental draft)

5th round
Philadelphia has a conditional pick from Cleveland (C Hank Fraley)
Kansas City has a #5 pick from Miami (QB Trent Green/pick can escalate to a #4 depending on playing time/performance)
Baltimore forfeits its #5 (OT Jared Gaither - 2007 supplemental draft)
Buffalo has a #5 pick from Chicago (DT Darwin Walker)
Chicago has a #5 from Carolina (DB Chris Harris)
Denver has a conditional #5 from Oakland (DT Gerald Warren)
New York Jets have a #5 from Washington (OG Pete Kendall/ pick escalates to a #4 in 2009 if Kendall plays 80% of snaps)

6th round
St. Louis has a #6 from Denver (DT Jimmy Kennedy)
Cleveland has a #6 from Seattle (QB Charlie Frye)
Buffalo has a conditional #6 from Philadelphia (LB Takeo Spikes and QB Kelly Holcomb for DT Darwin Walker)

7th round
Minnesota has a #7 from St. Louis (OT Adam Goldberg)
St. Louis has a #7 from Cincinnati (QB Ryan Fitzpatrick)

As you guessed :

SF #1
NE #2
Oak #3
NE #3

NE rest of the way.

Plus/minus anything the Pats might do by way of trades. There will be no comp picks this year, though.

That's a very nice board for a SB winner (cross our fingers). Four day-1 picks:

1) SF's pick looks like it will be our highest 1st rounder since #6 Richard Seymour in 2001. I think we'll end up around #7 or 8.

2) then we have our own low second, #63.

3) then Oakland's 3rd should be in the top 10 of that round, say #73.

4) then our own at around #95.

That will be an action-packed Day 1. Imagine if Goodell hadn't robbed us of our own 1st.

Plus we have all four Day-2 picks intact, which is nice, though last year showed that our roster is now so stacked that it's getting much harder for these lower round guys to make the team.
