Is It My Imagination - Or Has Brady Really Become Faster???

Well you guys are saying he ran no lower then a 5.0, I would hope a lot of people could beat that, that's slow as hell.
Some advice for the lonely Miami Dolphins troll:

Get out of your parents basement!
Cut your hair!
Shave your face!
Go out and get a job!
Pay your debts!

It must be Giselle!

Y'know being faster ain't nesessarily better.

There was an old bull and a young bull. The young bull looked down the hill at all those cows and said...

He can run the 40 faster than you can reach in your pocket to pay off a bet.

Ooops, bad comparison.

I like the theory above that says, in effect, he's faster because he's more decisive, not because of any big change in his straight-ahead max running speed.

Several times this year Brady has made a run to the sidelines. If I had the video equipment I would match up the old Tom and the current Tom and I'd bet he gets to the sideline faster now than he ever did.

I'm not calling him a scrambler ... that's just crazy...however my eyes are telling me Brady has become faster. He runs with longer strides than when he was younger. Then he had a much shorter step.

A really funny part of this ... imagine if Randy Moss has been helping Tom with his speed ... now that would make for a really cool story the media would really gag on.
I wouldn't say faster... maybe smarter, aka knowing when to run. I mean, sure, he put a move on Urlacher (sp?) last year, but that was not speed.

It wouldn't suprise me one bit if he has become faster. He's the kind of player that HATES any weakness and is willing to work hard to correct it. I think his work ethic is second to none, and I would bet he works on his speed and footwork religiously. The kind of pocket presence he displays can only be learned through tremendous repetition. Look at the kind of muscle memory he has as he slides in the pocket. Perfect, absolutely flawless technique.

He's the kind of player that will improve until he retires. He reminds me of that kid who barely made JV in highschool as a freshman but had enough heart for three teams. Everyday, you'd see him in the weightroom, on the track, or working on his technique. At first, you kind of laugh at him, but then notice the improvement. Comes back the next year after a summer away and you're like "woah, kid got bigger". Soon, he's starting. Just keeps working harder than everyone and keeps getting bigger, stronger and faster. Then, by senior year he's the best player on the team. That's the exact way I see Brady. Ugh, mancrush.

No offence to Brady, but he looks very funny when he runs.

Mannling must have the strongest legs in the entire NFL then

I just looked it up. He ran a 5.2 not a 5.4 or a 5.0. Even a 5.2 is horrible. Most linemen run at least that fast.

Moss ain't his tutor.
Cassel is.

Speaking of which . . . during Cassel's TD run against Washington, my exact thought process was, "Go Matt! . . . No way Brady would have made it to the end zone. . . ."

Why they haven't scheduled a race between Manning and Brady at a pro-bowl is beyond me. That would be funny as hell to watch.

I could beat him in a race.

Maybe you could, but you are a loser that stole $50 from charity.

You guys are on halluncinagens.

The guy cut loose because he could see lots of daylight.

He's not fast. Put your pipe down.
