The Pats are on the verge of shattering all offensive records in the history of the NFL. With that said, let's do our offense justice. I am asking you Bob Kraft if you come to this forum to set up "Air-raid" sirens after every single TD.

I'm picturing Randy pulling down a 60-yard rainbow or Donte Stud-worth breaking a 70-yarder after busting 3 tackles, I want to hear the sirens.

I like this one:

Should they do that before or after they start introducing the Pats to the Imperial Theme from Star Wars? :D

I would think maybe before a 3rd & long they could crank up those sirens.

I'm with you BtoM! It would be pretty cool. Maybe they could do during the 1812 Overture to drown that out!

Exactly, how can we get this out to Bob Kraft? Maybe I'll do a write-in to PFW.

I remember they did use air-raid sirens when the steelers came to new england for a playoff game i think in the 96 superbowl run. It was awsome after every td, and i remember we kicked the crap out of them that day in the fog.

It'd certainly be better than that ***gy U2 song they play now.

There is no such thing as a ***gy U2 song. Maybe not appropriate for football, but U2 rocks.

The falsetto "Woooo !" is ***gy... sorry.

And yes, I agree U2 is a good band... but that song is ***gy and has no place being played at a football game.

That U2 song is kinda lame for a football game.

I used to love that shot from Predator they used to play where Arnold has the torch and screams. I'll even take that Blur song.

The 1912 Overture is actually celebrating Russia's victory over Napoleon. All of a sudden that song isn't so patriotic (unless you're Russian).

No disrespect but I personally think it would be tacky and obnoxiously noisy.

I think I'd be forced into trying to decide whether to duck and cover or walk stupidly towards the Morlock's cave. :bricks:

Wow . . . I didn't know Napoleon was still alive then! :)

While they're at it they could replace those pop-gun muskets with rev. war field artilliery pieces.

BOOM!

Have you been to a game? The muskets are pretty loud. And a couple of the minutemen hang out in the parking lot and have a beer or two with the leftover fans. Those guys rock!

They do, but they'd rock louder with cannon.

Are you sure, or did you rely on hear-say from people on the ground?

I emailed PFW about that once and asked why they no longer play that clip (I havent seen it since the old stadium)... they answered it and said that under recently implemented NFL rules, home teams are not allowed to play clips or show instructions on their scoreboard that deliberately incite or tell people to 'make noise' or 'get loud'. Because people used to yell along with Arnold, they were told they can't play that clip anymore.

The No Fun League indeed.

But 'Elevation' needs to go... I can live with the 1812 after extra points, but nothing looks/sounds more out of place than Randy Moss celebrating with an irish guy singing "Woooo !" in the background.

And since Gary Glitter is a child molester and that song won't be coming back anytime soon, we need to find something else to fill that void. You're right that even that Blur song would be better.
