After reading the articles this year and watching lots of various mass media people, does anyone else get the sense there is a CLEAR line in the sand between two sides?

On one side are the Pats defenders, they are current Pats fans, 80's Giants guys, late 90's Jets guys, and 90's Cowboys people.

On the other side are Pats haters, made up of 90's Buffalo Bills people, current Colts fans, 80's 49ers fans (remember the Giants knocked out Montana), and a mixture of current Steelers/Chargers fans?

yeah 2 sides.

Good Side: Pats, winners, heros, superbowl teams, champs, studs, wonderful people

Losing side:
Old bitter morons who wear depends, crappy retired players who could never win anything, stupid fans, The Fraud Dungy, the Colts, the chargers, the eagles, some steelers, the Dolphins,

Yeah, the anti-Pats side is comprised pretty much entirely of bitter, jealous douchebags that let their envy show through at every possible opportunity, instead of facing reality.

yeah and senior citizens who like to drink prune juice and watch Jeopardy.

Great one Keegzie...

Good: NE Patriots, supermodels, successfull people, rational thinkers, insightfull football fans, knowlegeable respectors of football history, manly men, smart women

Bad: NY Jets, Eric 'The Rat' Mangini, squealers, brown noses, media 'experts', pink hats, weenies, no-scorekeeping soccer Moms, anti-dodgeball school administrators

How can you watch Jeopardy if you drank prune juice?

Two clear sides. On the one, Patriot haters. On the other, God.

People that know football & those who don't.

I for one don't get the sense of two clear sides, just the drivel the media spews draws the line. I am a Colts fan who likes and respects the Patriots. There are plenty more like me, as there are plenty of Patriots fans that respect the Colts, (Ok, Colts except for Polian). They are both teams that have worked real hard to achieve what they have, what's there not to enjoy.

The media will always take what is working and play it to the hilt. Right now the battle of "Good vs. Evil" line is making them money. Some Colt fans and some Patriot fans get enjoyment of seeing the other team and their fans as the enemy, that's fine, whatever floats their boat and gives them enjoyment. It's all good as long as you are having fun!

The guy on ESPN radio before Felger today compared this rivalry to Ali vs. Frasier. Ali vs Frasier grew so far beyond boxing it ended up being one of the chief labeling systems of its time. You were either an establishment person who dug Frasier, or you were anti-establishment and backed Ali. I'm not seeing it. On our side you have the Football guy, and representing the Colts is: the Football guy.

The whole good versus evil crapola is such an obvious self gratifying ploy by the media it is not even funny.

They have ballwashed the Colts for years now and declared the Pats boring. So now that the Pats have clearly beat the Colts at their own game; i.e. running up the score to take advantage of the stupid rule changes of the Polian committee; the media suddenly declares the Pats as evil instead of boring.

It is a sign of our very shallow culture that these vultures can hang on to a job writing this opinon/crap stuff instead of giving us any sort of real football insight.

On one side you have the rational sports fans of all teams

on the other side you have the agent of Satan and his minions, the Polianites.

Our choice is clear...and their damnation is near
