Just wondering if it is a coincidence or for some reason the schedule maker like NEs to play Buffalo after NE has the bye week.

This will be the 3rd consecutive year that after the bye week that these two teams meet and I believe it is a 3 out of 7 years that the 2 teams face each other after the week off by the Pats.

I think Buffalo has only won once against NE coming off the bye and is 1-2 in the 3 games and hopefully that remains the same late sunday night November 18th.

The bye is time off in nice places compensation to the Pats players for having to go to that godforsaken hellhole.

Based on the overall views of this discussion board the patriots are going to treat the Bills game as an additional bye week. :p

Don't be surprised to see the post bye week record at 2-2 of the last 4 though.

Could I get a translation?

since the Pats are 2-1 after the bye vs the Bills, he is assuming/predicting/guessing/hoping/praying/dreaming that they will win this year making it 2//4 or 2-2 post the bye.....

I survived 4 years in upstate/western NY so I can translate...
--------------------Edited. The Pats have won the last three years post bye vs Buf '04 31-17, '05 21-26 and '06 28-6. In the Brady era, they are 5-1 after the bye with the only loss versus Denver 24-16 in 2002. You have to go back to 2000 when the Pats lost 16-13 to Buf post-bye....

Come on do we have to bash every other city we play against? Granted I wouldn't want to live in Buffalo but its not a 'hell hole.' Bagdad is a hell-hole. Buffalo is just a run down cold weathered small city - that has some good people living up there. One of the few things they have is an okay football team. <g>

Actually, it's the 4th consecutive year. But we play them twice a year, so it's probably just a coincidence.

To ease back into things? :)

Wow, bang, zoom ......

I see you have a love affair with all things Buffalo.

I don't know why people have to trash Buffalo. They're one of the few teams I'll root for consistently when they're not playing the Pats.

I like what the Bills are doing this year. If they could get a QB they would a wildcard contender. They may be without a QB.

Marshawn Lynch looks like the real deal. Unfortunately for them, young backs often look promising in buffalo and end up playing somewhere else.

and for the record Fallujah is a god forsaken hell hole. Where's ColtInIraq at to back me up on this one?

But Buffalo does not win next weekend.

Still better then Indianapolis or Oakland for that matter.
