Unbelievable, I must have watched a different game than these experts. The consensus was basically the Pats are a beatable team and naming five teams
I saw a broken play for 70+ yd TD questionable PI I also saw second half adjustments that completly wore down the Colts which paved the way for the superior team to win. The crybabies wonder why the Pats score 40+ each game, they never get respect the deserve.

And hearing Collinsworth saying the road go's through Foxboro and the field will be watered by the pats and be sloppy. I guess he does not know there is field turf now.

Well anyone and everyone's beatable - we see it all the time where the most talented team underperforms and the least talented team overperforms

I take no offense in them saying the Patriots are beatable

I just don't think you'll see them underperform like they did against the Colts again... they were playing against two teams at once - the Refs and the Colts and didn't play to their full capacity.

This is why so many feel they have a real chance to go 19-0 - because the team is so well disciplined, Sunday is as bad as you'll see them play - and they still won.

But it can happen - they can be beat - no one is kidding themselves about that, least of all the team.

Yeah, that was the kicker.. I was thinking to myself.. Doesn't he know it's field turf? Another example that these clowns do not do proper research..

take away missed tackles and few bad calls and game isnt close.

however we need to work better against good pass rushers..playcalling was little conservative early because their D was "so fast and good". i would of liked to see us go deep early

defensively its still "TACKLING" we dont do it for full 60 minutes

The Colts should have scored 10 points max if it weren't for all the bull**** calls.

I wasn't going to mention this abusrd opening on "Inside" because there is plenty, maybe too much, of the boy-does-the-media-hate-us stuff here already, but since you've brought it up...

very first question is to Cris Carter- "what did you see in Indy?"
Reply- "I saw two even teams...(etc.)" Aye crumba, Cris, THE PATRIOTS WON! The whole group joins in whining about Ugoh and Harrison missing the game (not bothering to mention we didn't have our leading rusher and number free safety) and say, hey, the Pats wouldn't have without Moss, a poor parallel ignoring the fact that WAYNE, not Harrison, is by far the Colts number 1 WR this year. More junk follows as noted above; it was just stupid until Collinsworth and Costas meekly tried to bring some perspective. it was frustrating and I turned it off after watching the superb sideline highlights. see the 'dispelling the myth the colts know how to beat the Pats now ' thread for retort to this collective mindset.

I gave up on that show a year ago because of Dan's flip flop picks and Chris Carter's hatred on all things Patriot. Thanks for this thread. It's a great reminder of why I don't watch those guys anymore.

Did anyone figure out what the f***k they were talking about when they listed the teams which could put pressure on Brady? The Giants, Steelers, Colts, Green Bay, and Dallas were mentioned as some sort of threats. Did they see the score of the Dallas game? Were they actually saying Green Bay would give us a game if we were to meet in the SuperBowl, Greenbay? From all the talk, looks like teams will be pressuring Brady, we'll see how that works for them. Again, talk of missing Harrison, the lineman, and Gonzalez. Nothing on penalties. The Patriots set a record for penalties committed. Do they actually think thats going to happen again.

^^Hi, I'm a whiner^^

^^Hi, I'm a whiner^^

What game were you watching? Here's what I saw .1 fluke 73 yard TD, 2 FG's on BS PI calls and an 8 play 32 yard drive set up by your D' interception and a Personal Foul Penalty. BTW who's not on the injury list for the Clot's this week? Small, Fast Teams = Small, injured Teams

proper research ? i think you're giving them too much credit. i think it points to the fact that these idiots don't know what the hell they're talking about. for so called " football experts" the turf issues of past years and subsequent replacement with field turf at gillette should be common knowledge. how many times were the pats chided for poor field conditions by the mainstream media. all of a sudden, they forgot it was replaced. it's the 3m's. more mediot misinformation. collinsworth couldn't buy a clue.

Well, after seeing Carter speak nonsense and say the Colts and Pats were "even" despite the fact the Pats just beat the Colts (and that doopey group listing of teams that can bring pressure on Brady with just 4 rushers meaning they will be trouble for the Pats like the Colts were - ah, again, gentlemen, the Pats won - did include the Cowboys, who, oops, lost to Pats at home just like the Colts! ugh.) Carter now has a piece on Yahoo sports showing major love for the Pats by picking Brady as top offensive player so far, Belichick as best coach, and Moss as comeback player. And he feels we will go 16-0 !! 'Got to give the man some credit where credit is due...

I always thought it was amusing that the consensus went from "It's the Pats and Colts and everybody else" to" Hey a bunch of other teams can beat the Pats now".

They played a close tightly contested game and suddenly they're back with the rest of the pack? The way I see it is the Colts and Patriots are still on a level all by themselves and this latest game doesn't bring any of the other teams closer but merely just reaffirms the initial premise, that these two teams are head and shoulders above the competition.

I laugh at the assertion that the Colts provided the rest of the league with a blueprint on how to beat the Patriots. Unless that blueprint includes kidnapping the Colts' personnel and changing the rules to have all games played in the RCA dome, I don't see how other team's expect to execute the Colts' game plan. They simply don't have the personnel to do so.

Hate to repeat myself, but does anyone know what these guys were talking about concerning teams putting pressure on Brady. They used Dallas as an example. How many points did the Patriots put on Dallas? Forty-Eight!

I can't watch that show again. Last night was the final straw and the last of the Colt's ball washing for me. It's pretty apparent there are alot of people that wanted to see the Colt's win that game{including the NFL and ref's} and were vastly dissapointed.

Barely mentioned in the AFCG about our Harrison missing. Wilson out,Faulk and Colvin didn't suit up for the 2nd half. After all, according to everyone the Colts had a historic comeback that night. Injuries are part of the game. Right?
No mention of the horrible officiating. Screw them.

THe Patriots will go on to smash the Steelers and everyone will be back on the bandwagon again, trust me.

Ah yes the Steelers. The brain trust experts will really hype this one because of the total domination that the Steelers have over us, particularly when we go into their house.
