Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

You realize the Patriots offense isn't the Ravens, the game will be on fieldturf, and the Patriots have generally had their way with the Steelers of late?

Honestly, I think the Steelers are one of the few teams left that could give NE a hard time, but everything would have to go in their favor (as it did for the Colts) in order for them to keep it close.

Let's also not forget the Patriots can get pretty physical, too :D

Oh, absolutely....I agree the Ravens are certainly NOT the Pats! However, any QB who gets the kind of pressure McNair was facing last night, will eventually make a mistake. Brady is human afterall, and I just happen to believe a Defense that can get consistant pressure on him will expose just how human he is. The fact that the game is on fieldturf is irrelavant, as is the statement that "the Patriots have generally had their way with the Steelers of late." What's in the past is in the past. Alot has changed on BOTH teams since their last meeting. I'm looking forward to a very physical and exciting game in December! I really hope both teams deliver! :D

Anyone hear this yesterday ? They played it on WEEI ..it was unintentionally hilarious. i just found this one snippet. dont know where the rest of the transcript it.

"We're supposed to lose at their field, now they got to come to Baltimore," middle linebacker Ray Lewis said. "For me, football season is just getting started. .. They had no success running the ball, but then they attack our young boys."

Whatta joke. When do Ray Ray and the vaunted Ravens' D finally lose their luster?

the rest of the interview was even more funny.

Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

The Ravens are going nowhere with that putrid offense of theirs.

Wow, what a bizarre statement. That guy is going to be a bona fide mental case (if he isn't already) once he's done with football. He's got to be the most intense player in the league.

Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

I actually SAW it on ESPN News. It's much more scary on TV. He looks like he just took 3 full bottles of speed.

I honestly hope somebody in the Ravens organization strapped him down to a seat on the plane ride home.

Was it on that ravens link? I didn't see it so I'll go back and check again.

he also said they score 35 pts in the first half because of turnovers and only 3 in the 2nd without turnovers. delusional . No talk about redzone defense or their putrid offense.

Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

Yeah, 5 TDs allowed in the first half, but the defense had no role whatever in losing the game.

Hating the Ravens as much as I do, the press conference made the win all the sweeter. 0-3 in the division, 1-4 in conference, with games remaining against San Diego, NE, Indy, and the Steelers and the season is just starting? Wow.

Will do. I'm at work, trying to look like I'm working, but I'll see what I can find. :)

Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

hes right...could they run the ball at Ravens? Nope. Did they attack their nickel and dime backs that had to start?

Losing luster? Their D is very good. O is bad..Rolle & McAlister were OUT

You tell me when u can get Hines Ward + Holmes verse Martin and Ivy on a wet field..tell me who wins that matchup.

Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

Samari Rolle sucks these days anyway.

Samari Rolle > their backups. thats the point. Thats why he starts and they dont. Hes better..and he doesnt get abused that badly. hes been hurt quiet a bit this year but McAlister loss hurts.

Re: OT:Ray lewis post game

Speaking of Baltimore's defense, Perloff's blog on the CNN sport site http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/74604
lists the Baltimore defense as one reason the Patriots will not go undefeated (they will rattle Moss with big hits). Someone should send this guy the interview with Ray.
