He's Top 5 are
1colts
2 pats
3steelers

Did he post this top 5 AFTER the Pats beat the Colts? If so, he is indeed ******ed, oh excuse me, mentally challenged. :p

Re: meril hodge is just plain dumb

Could be he's one of those who considers the Super Bowl champs #1 no matter what. That said, there's lots of other reasons to call him "just plain dumb."

Re: meril hodge is just plain dumb

I heard somebody say that they would have "considered the Pats better than the Colts even if they had lost a close game" last night, so maybe that's what Hodge's position is. The difference here is that this game was played in Indy, which gave indy all the advantages.

I just saw him with Schlereth on ESPNNEWS and he was singing New England's praise. Said he thinks they will go 16-0, and that he really wants to see them go 16-0. So, maybe it was something posted previously.

Although, he did have a numbe rof concussion when playing :p

I'm shocked it was not

1. Steelers
2. Colts
3. Pats

Loser.......

I really don't find it that insane. Just because the Patriots beat the Colts doesn't mean they are automatically the better team. If the Colts have Harrison, Keiaho and Gonzalez in the 2nd half that might be a pretty different game.

With that said, I think the Pats are the better team, but it's not as crazy as you guys make it sound.

List seems pretty alright to me, I'd change the Colts and Pats and that's about it.

And if the referees were, at the very least, competent then the Pats would've had an easy 10-14 point victory. I think people are forgetting how much of a fluke it was that Indy even scored 20 points. A 70 yard touchdown on a 3 yard dump off in which the Pats secondary suddenly turned into the Keystone Cops for a play? And at least one of those field goals is directly due to a horrible call.

I think people are wanting to say the Colts could've won that game with an extra healthy player here or there, but those same people are operating under the assumption that the Patriots played up to their capabilities and didn't have outside hindrances (the refs).

More bulletin board material... helps with the ratings, that is what this is all about.. not about football, but their personal legacy..

Exactly, Keep us # 2, Merril. We need you and other Pats haters to give us an edge until we win the Super Bowl.

OK this is getting just plain ridiculous. Isn't being the best team also based on having the best depth not just the best starters?

I think the colts are a great team and Marvin Harrison is a great receiver, but if the Colts are the better team, as many pundits claim, they should have won without Harrison, Gonzales, and the rest.

He is entitled to his opinion. I don't agree and the game results don't either, but hey, whatever.

Then, it could be:
Dallas
Indy
San Diego
There are a number of fans and players from those teams who still think they are better then the Patriots. The Colts (if they make it) have to play at the Razor for the next game. Are you going to say they are the better team come January (if both teams win out). Harrison, Keiaho, and Gonzalez will not make up the difference in the next game. Some people will not realize that until the Patriots go undefeated and win the Superbowl that they are cleary the best. Unless your Don Shula.
