 This is coming from a pats fan, I am not a troll..

I was with you guys reading the gameday threads and have never seen such bandwagoner fans in my life, I dont have time to re-paste all the posts but some of the stuff I read was a Utter joke, the sad part is some of the people posting had 300+ posts..

After the colts scored their first 3pts, Here were some of the comments

"We are finished, NE is a total joke right now"
"This game is done, I am turning off the TV,"
"We look horrible, this looks like a blowout"

After the 13-7 trailing at halftime I read..
"I knew we werent for real, this team is looking like frauds"
"Well, we are lucky the score isnt 30-7, this team disgusts me"
"16-0 my butt, we'll be lucky to make it to the playoffs if we keep playing like this"

9minutes to go in the 4th quarter I read a few like this...

"We are done, put it in the bag, maybe next year guys, what a game"
"We got robbed by the refs, and maybe this team isnt as good as we thought, im giving up on this game, we arent that good"
"this is a horrible game:(, I always knew we were good, but I knew if we played the colts it would show our true colors, oh well, maybe the offseason trades werent the key"

You guys are ******** pathetic, you sound like a bunch of whining bandwagon piece of crap fans, you true Pats fans should be digusted by having such fake fairweather fans on this board..what a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The game was not over yet!!!! And all you jackass fair-weather fans who have already given up, I don't want to see any celebrating from you when the Pats mount the comeback...you just don't give up mid-game on your team, that's complete BS.

They've played a bad game, plain and simple. It's bad timing for the poor performance, but such is life and guess what: even if they were to lose they'll be in the playoffs. Stop this crybaby ****, I'm sick of everyone giving up.

Hello and welcome to last week!

Half the people apologized for jumping the shark. Nothing but love, but there are great new drugs your doctor can hook you up with that can help with a wide variety of blood pressure issues and/or psychosis.

We're all sorry. Sorta. If it makes you shut up.

That's every fanbase. I don't like it either but it's stupid to single us out.

well I am not making a generalization, so my fault for that..but Roballan a doctor to prescribe me drugs for making a point about a game that was yesterday? sounds like you were one of those idiot fans.

I'm sure a lot of that was from the game day thread which is always emotional and reactionary stream of thought. I never hold what anyone posts in the game day thread against them. If you don't like reading other people's views just move on. Maybe Patsfans.com should be like the NFL. Rookies are seen and not heard. ;)

Did you ever say something to someone in your life that was wrong and you wished you never opened your mouth?

Since none of us here are Jesus,we make mistakes

If you see a guy in here do it almost everytime NE trails then you have a valid point, otherwise just let it be for what it was,an emotional outburst albeit negative, but from a Patriots Nation member who loves his team.

Totally incorrect. This is what happens when a fan base becomes spoiled and that's exactly what you guys are. I bet there would be "we suck" threads here had the Pats lost and that would just be laughable.

You should be used to we suck threads at finheaven - Its been what like 12 games in a row now going back to last year?

You wish Miami fans were spoiled or had something to be spoiled about.

The only positive posts in the past few years at finheaven was about the high draft picks and who Miami will eventually choose to waste it with

What do the Dolphins have to do with this thread?

As long as you post with that stupid picture of 3 guys that are on an 0-8 team you will hear backlash.

BTW: Your worthless group of trash you call a team better pull off the shocker this week so we can finally put this pathetic division away in week 10once we clean up whatever is left of Buffalo.

Sorry that you don't get it but those were trolls masquerading as pats fans.
Thier lives are SO PATHETIC that thats what they get thier jollies on.
AMAZING thing tho BRADY TO MOSS>ALL:rocker:

Hmm... your logic doesn't add up, try to stay on topic.

My sig is pretty damn cool IMO, the guy who made it for me did a great job and those 3 guys are going to give the Dolphins a good offense for quite a few years.

So what you are telling me is Brady should not even be mentioned right now as greatest QB but a guy like Beck who has not even played a down in the NFL is going to make your team good? - What has he showed you in a Dolphins Jersey to make you say that? - Does he hold the clipboard well?,Is that what makes you think hes going to be good?

Does that make sense?

Has any Dolphin QB not named Marino or Griese been anything but a bust? - another bad team's fan in wonderland - sad but true.

Every team has fans like this, its natural. My own Dad who is 81 is so used to seeing Boston sports teams blow it that he tends to have a negative outlook as well. All game yesterday he was pissed and saying we are done.

Maybe I am just a stupid optimist but if there is one team that I have learned that I can count on, its the Pats. I was pissed over the shoddy tackling and the refs and the crappy playcalling but I kept my cool and I thought we had a chance. But I'm a diehard, I never want to give up. Yesterday my faith was rewarded.

When we are winning, I love watching the game with other people. But days like yesterday I hate watching the game with others because I cannot stand negative comments, it drives me nuts. Days like yesterday I wish I could go down in a bunker and watch the game by myself.

As an out of towner myself, I have to stick up for Aqua, he seems like a pretty cool guy. Yeah the Dolphins suck and he knows that but he contributes some good stuff around here and its nice to get a different perspective. Besides you have to have some respect for someone who stands by an 0-8 team, a bandwagoner he is not.

 This is coming from a pats fan, I am not a troll...Blah, blah, blah

Look Mr Patriot, if you actually counted the number of members who made such comments, you'd realize they are a very small percentage of our total members.

Personally, I would never even LOOK at this board during game time and I'd wager that very few do. NOW, if YOU were on this board during gametime yourself, consider yourself a poor example of a Patriots fan...IMO!:D

in case any have noticed....pats fans write like that...even after we win. generations of sox blowing it. after a good win by pats..maybe a thrid of the post will be ..which player didnt play well....worried why we didnt try a fg, .

i read the a colts thread after the game....what do they do? they make excuses..if this if that..so and so didnt play...we got them just where we want them for rematch in foxboro...

anyway its human nature..people venting...trying to soothe the disappoinment

well I am not making a generalization, so my fault for that..but Roballan a doctor to prescribe me drugs for making a point about a game that was yesterday? sounds like you were one of those idiot fans.

Your not a troll...so you say:rolleyes: Well, if you're not, you sure are a rookie here and in most cases, rookies are wise to keep their mouths shut! Capiche?

I put faith in my scouting and Cam Cameron's history of QB developement. I saw Beck play very well at BYU and in the pre-season. I've read articles talking about how much he studies and prepares and I've seen other's have nothing but positive things to say about him. Ask Ron Jaworski what he thinks about John Beck.

Is that enough or do you need more?

Yeah,I need to see him pass a freakin ball first before we anoint him anything but another JAG QB in an aqua jersey.

When I was around 20, Todd Blackledge was the guy most sought by all teams in the NFL,After all he came from Penn State and was the best looking QB in the nation and was openly known as a very smart QB with all the potential to be a HOFer...
What happened?

I think he probably ended up as a sports reporter in a small town after getting kicked off the Chiefs a few years later while the guys that same year in Kelly,Elway,Marino were all on thier way to record breaking careers

COLLEGE BALL MEANS SQUAT TILL YOU DO IT ON A PROFESSIONAL FIELD - GET IT?

So by your standards we should never be excited about any rookie, ever?
Personally I have seen way too many busts to EVER be excited about a player

Since I am 43 I have seen a few more busts than you have in your life,If you could put guys that were expected to be great but ended up busts from side to side in one line it would reach from here in PA to you in WA.

When I was about your age I was VERY excited about a young DE named Kenneth Sims who was supposed to be the next great defensive lineman - We had the top pick that year and in about 3 years after that I think Sims ended up being a stock clerk at a post office or something like that - since then I wait till 4 consecutive games are played and all must be solid performances before I get excited about a young boy entering a mans game.

I bet you felt the same way when Ricky Williams was tossed aside by the Colts who took James and the Dolphins ended up with Ricky who did not have the better rookie season of the two IMO,Thats why I always wait patiently.

So by your standards we should never be excited about any rookie, ever?

In a down draft for quarterbacks, Beck didn't get picked until the second round. He's quite old for a rookie in today's NFL (He's already 26), and he was unable to unseat Cleo Lemon for the backup spot on the Dolphins. I wouldn't sing funeral dirges about the guy until he proves he's a stiff, but I wouldn't strike up the band and sing songs of joy until he proves he's the immediate future, either.

I understand your point but I still think there can be some hype for players. Hell, there's no doubt Calvin Johnson is going to be a stud.

The Saints drafted Ricky by the way.

Yeah thats right,I seldom watched the Saints and only watched Ricky years later when with Miami so I always get that screwed up...

Well if you must know I posted in April right here on patsfans on how I thought Adrian Peterson was going to be rookie of the year - There was just something special I saw out of that kid in the combine/workouts that I have not seen in a long time in a RB
There was just that twinkle in his eye and confidence in him standing tall at the podium on draft day once Minnesota made the pick that made me say,Man this guy is going to be a special player -and so far so good....no I take that back so far so GREAT.

So yeah there are times when you can get excited about a rookie but they are RARE believe me,The last guy that I was excited to see a rookie BEFORE he even took a step on the field was Drew Bledsoe who will always be a favorite with me,The guy was awesome in his prime, never championship material but awesome for Patriots fans crying for some kind of success.

If Beck ends up like an above average QB as in a Bledsoe-type QB consider yourself lucky,Not many end up like Brady or Manning and most end up worse like Todd Blackledge or Ryan Leaf  .
