To this date, it seems like the guy just can't read the blitz, even if it means to save his own life-Minny is a Cover 2 team, but I saw more blitzes from them yesterday than I've seen from them in an entire year. Ditto KC.

Rivers went to the Pro Bowl last year, picked over Brady who was throwing to street JAGs. Sportswiters are such tools.

YES! I actually took that punk for fantasy football this week and will never make that mistake again.

MOST OVERRATED SOB ON THE PLANET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worse than that, he's so mouthy and so arrogant on the field it's laughable.

ANOTHER reason to hate the punk Chargers.

YES he is and will never be more than a good QB at best.

Watching that game yesterday, San Diego got absolutely dominated up front. That Minnesota front line is amazing and confused Rivers all day. With that said, when he did get time he was incredibly inaccurate and seemed to be on a different page with his receivers a lot. Yesterday was an awful game, Rivers will be alright though.

A corrolary question: "Is Rivers Better than Goober #2 (Eli Manning)?"

[screechy]He's the sorriest QB in the league![/screechy]

yes he is.

He is reckless with the ball and a turnover machine. ESPECIALLY when it come s to fumbles.

He also isn't that good of a passer.

And i hate it when he does "jump passes". he looks like an idiot. isn't he like 6'6?
what the hell is the matter with this guy?

As if it wasn't bad enough to be forced to waste a first rounder on a guy that, to date, pretty much sucks, it's a double-whammy since they cut Brees loose because they had him. AJ really messed that team up...

Throw Roethlisberger in there while you're at it, who, while substantially better than either of the other two, has still done very little to justify the rush to anoint him after his rookie year (I still steadfastly maintain that it was the ground game and defense that won that SB). In the end, I expect that we'll see the same from all 3 of them: good, serviceable QBs who were anointed far, far too early.

:agree: He has a lot of growing up to do. Wish Brees was still here...

Yes he is most definitely overrated.

And he is also a pathetic whiney twit.

He squeals when he yells, too.:singing: :singing: :singing:

"Act like you've been there before" he squealed after
losing in a play off game last year to....uhmmm...
I forget.:D

Your talent assessment skills are almost as good as the Dolphins front office.

Rivers will be a very average QB.

Goober Jr., Derek Anderson, Romo, Jay Culter and what little I've seen from Trent Edwards will all be WAY better than Rivers.

 Aqua, a 'Phins fan - let alone one with your track record - should simply recuse themselves from any and all discussions of whether or not a QB is under let alone over rated...

So after a pro-bowl season and now following 1 bad game we are going to anoint him a bust? And I'm not exactly sure why my team having bad QBs the past 7 years means I can't evaluate QBs.

All Trent Edwards did was check down. Losman is their QB and is endorsed by their only good WR.

He played terribly against the Bears, Pats, and Chiefs as well.
