Patriots:
Drive 1: Mathis school Kaczur for a sack, 10 yard loss is the drive killer, better protection, we woulda been good
Drive 2: No complaints here, red zone touchdown to moss
Drive 3: Drive killer: PENALTY leg whip on Light, 2nd and long, intercepted deep intented for Stallworth, coulda gone either way, if Moss was on that side, its arguable he woulda caught it
Drive 4: Colts defense stop us legit, 3 and out, credit Indy's D
Drive 5: Drive killer: 8 yards loss on sack by Mathis, again...better protection, we'd be good
Drive 6: Third and 1, Maroney stop short of first down (B.Sanders), credit Indy's defense, leads to field goal
Drive 7: Drive killer, Intercepted by Brackett (dude can jump), intended for Kyle Brady, Pats mistake, credit Indy's defense.
Drive 8: Touchdown to Welker, key play: 55 yard pass to Moss, refs still tried to eff this up calling BS interference on Moss
Drive 9: Touchdown to Faulk, key play:33 yards to stallworth, believe it or not, props to the official for ruling a pushout, after watching NFL review, they coulda called it EITHER way, judgement call.
Drive 10: Key 3rd down conversion by Welker (you effing suck, good players step up big in crucial situations (caldwell woulda dropped it, and accg all over again)

Colts offense didn't impress me, aside from addai
How they got down the field:
Score 1: Field Goal, Key Play: questionable pass interference called on Samuel for 37 yards, to set them up on our 9, props to the pats D, big red zone stop
Score 2: Field Goal, Key Play: questionable (i say BS) pass interference called on Hobbs for 40 yards, set them up, on our 6, again, props to the pats D, another big red zone stop
Score 3: Touchdown, key play 73 yard catch and run by Addai, no excuse on this play, poor tackling, players out of postion
Score 4: Indy drives down the field and score a touchdown, (i believe this is the only drive Indy really had going for them, driving down the field with no BS PI penalty)

They didn't exactly drive down the field, they got the ball on Pats 32 after an INT. They had one long play where Pats tackled for ****, two gifts by the refs, and a short TD drive after a turnover.

Freeney beat Light was coming in flat and clear in full speed .Do you really consider protecting brady from a major hit vs penalty . I rather have kazcur called for 2 holding penalty instead of 2 sack and brady hits.

Interesting stuff. Thanks for posting.

Drive 9: I do not see how it could have been called any other way (legitimately).

Drive 3: that was the right call, and it was based on getting beat.

Drives 1 and 5: not sure what is meant by "we'd be good"; looks to me like good defense, although I question whether they get that quick step on the road

While I agree there were a lot of questionable calls, the PI on Samuel was there, it wasn't huge, but it was enough.

You'd be surprised how the official could have blown that call
Drive 3: that was the right call, and it was based on getting beat.
i agree, he did get beat, i shoulda added that
Drives 1 and 5: not sure what is meant by "we'd be good"; looks to me like good defense, although I question whether they get that quick step on the road
i mean if the pats had better protection on his side, those sacks probably wouldnt have been the key plays to end those respective drives

I agree. I like M. Light. He made a good decision. Maybe Brady would have gotten it out of there, but Light didn't know where Brady was looking, and if he was looking to the Right, then it really could have been a dangerous play. So, the trip was in order.

Freeny is a beast. I bet that dude is really tired today. He worked his azz off. No doubt. That Indy d is very very good. And like Brady said, one can only really appreciate the speed that they have after you have played them.

The Indy Offense was stuck in mud for much of the game. Addai is very cool. He has that jump step that they were talking about that seems to really work. Actually, it is his start after the jump that is great. He simply bounds out of there and he is into the open space in very short order.

Of course, he is aided greatly by Payton.

The pats D, especially rodney was pretty good yesterday. I know that Addai was a beast, but when it mattered, the D really got their chit together.

I would like to take this opportunity to jump to Light's defense as well. It sucks that he got beat badly, but, given that, he did exactly what I would want him to do. Take the penalty to protect Brady, every time.
