Hey, was that td a freak'n wonderful sight or what???

He is like a stilletto. He goes right into the soft underbelly of a defense like it was butta.

That hurt them bad.

He is a great player for us and he has been for a long long time.

BB didn't think so. His comment after the TD was, "Hold onto the frakin' ball!" :)
I love Faulk. He's contributed strongly to every SB run.

I love Kevin. He is a great player and gives a 100% everytime. BUT I was screaming at my TV for him to hold on to the ball.

I remember when they drafted him, I was pissed. I said he would be lucky to be in the NFL for 3 years. WRONG!!!!

The guy have been a valuable member of this team and probably the most underated player during our dynasty run.

That was really good play to stretch out like that. The play that cemented the win though was that gay flip manning sent to Colvin I think it was.

Faulk has been great for a long tie for us, and he does alot of the drity work too, like picking up blitzes.
Although, when I saw him stretch for the TD, my thought was "don't fumble" and of course, ......he didn't.... :rocker:

I am never comfortable when he is running the ball up the middle, he runs way to upright for such a little fella….. I love him, but he always scares me he is going to fumble.

Kevin came up big when called on like he usually does.

His ratio of big plays to touches is off the charts. He seems to make a couple big plays every game.

I'd have to agree that "Faulks-da-man":)

Hey man, like your ummm moniker is like the same thing that you like ... said.

:)

He is way cool. I underestimate him every time. He just cuts like a knife.

His yards are soo important.

I love dem pats.

Hey!!

Faulk ALWAYS comes thru in big situations. this guy is a stud

One thing I've noticed is that he's showing some real power this year. How often have we seen him gain 6 or so on that delay draw, only to drop a shoulder and drive a LB back another 3 yards?

Another example of a Patriot's player accepting - make that embracing - his role.

To be fair, he was already coming down by contact, so it wouldn't have made a difference, once the ball crossed the goal line.

You weren't all wrong though because as a feature back he might have failed terribly.

I fully understand the need to dive with the ball unprotected. The idea is to get the ball to cross the plane, not stop people from having their little heart attacks.

I think once the player sees the pylon or the line it's his job to extend the arm and get the ball out there regardless of whether he can hang on to it or not after it crosses the plane.

If he had protected the ball and been hammered at the one then we might not have scored at all.

Also, I think he might have chosen to dive because he knew he was going to fall. I think he made the right call to dive and put the ball out in front of him.

It really wasn't even close. He ended up with 1/2 his body in the EZ and the ball didn't come out until he was down. My thought was "if the refs haven't signalled TD yet, then BB should challenge" but it was one of the few calls the refs got right yesterday.

SOO Right. Man i love the guy and i wrote about him in a thread a few weeks ago how brilliant he is playing and also that he was the most underestimated player on our Offense. Way to go Kevin.

Awesome play by Kevin. The ball hit the ground in the end zone so I have no problem with it bouncing out. Touchdown all the way.
