Well, so much for my prediction of a shootout. Once I saw Harrison was out I kind of had a sneaking suspicion the Colts might go the ball control route. I was totally off the mark on Clark being the so-called X factor. Didn't do much of anything all day except a 3rd down conversion. Congrats on the win. Moss was impressive all day. Deep throws, quick slants and that ridiculous one hander over the middle. I think you guys roll the rest of the way and look forward to the rematch in Foxboro in January. Hopefully, the Colts will be fully healthy with Ugoh, Harrison and Keiaho back out there. Don't read that as an excuse for the loss. It's not. You guys deserved it. I'm not nearly as fearful of a rematch in Foxboro though with the way the Colts are setup. If Harrison doesn't get healthy though the Colts WR situation is in some serious trouble.

I agree it was a great game,a real nail bitter. I have to say that the Colts really impressed me with their toughness, and hard hitting. Were the ones that are suppose to be the tough hard hitting team. But the Colts proved that they've come along way in that department since 03-04. They now have it all and offense,a defense and some grit to go with it. I'm sure will see each other again.

I hope we get better ref's next time we play, but don't read that as an excuse...

I am impressed with the colts. I was before the game too.

But, when the chit hit the fan, look back and watch the lil colties crumple.

Everyone will be talking about how hard hitting they are (cause simms went on and on about it), but the hard hitting started to take its toll on them. The truth is, they are smaller and can't take such long term battle. And, we will see how they recover from this one. The bolts will be determined to gouge them. No disrespect to the colts. The are a great team. But they win by demoralizing teams with amazing speed, relentless effort, and great scoring from the O and payton. In the forth, they got beat down. There ain't no doubt. And they are going to be very tired after this one.

Not sure where to stick this, but the thread title seems appropriate. great game by the Pats. Hung in and made the plays when they had to. Most Pats fans are giving props to Colts for their defensive effort, which is nice to see. Your D really stepped up when it had to, not just second half. 3 trips and 6 points is what killed the Colts (along with inferior special teams play). I know you'd all be pissed had you lost, but I don't think the refs had much to do with the 10 point output through 3 1/3 qtrs. IIRC, the PI's resulted in FG's, not TD's. If anything, might have actually helped in terms of lengthening the game while still only giving up 3. Not sure if any of those calls were on 3rd and long plays. Moss was terrific, nice one handed grab over the middle. Gonzo, Wayne, and Morehead all had big drops, gotta make those plays in big games. Welker was a great addition, guy plays 9 games and he acts like he's been part of this rivalry since '03. Anyway, great win, you deserved it. Hope the Colts can forget about this one quickly.

I know were you can stick it.

You know we'd be pissed? Obviously from your further comments, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

The calls kept your offense on the field. They put extreme pressure on our team. We were playing a bend don't break d and those calls removed huge chunks of valuable real estate in the "break" zone.

I think that the colts are a very good team. But don't start rationalizing the effect of those calls. They could have been demoralizing. They happened over and over and only a champion rises from such a travisty.

For you to treat it as if it was a small thing or somehow benificial makes you look like a complete and utter fool.

Screw you too. It didn't keep us on the field, it got us off early. Addai could have run it more in that first half, and ate up more clock. I am not going to argue the nuances, but again, those calls had nothing to do with your 10 point output.
Great job to hold us to three in those spots. Is there ever a time where the Pats aren't guilty? Hobbs got Gonzo, the no call on Harrison (he had Clark beat) was consistent with the call where Wayne had a half step on his defender. Please don't whine, I suppose Matt Light didn't leg whip either

by tomorrow you'll spin that it was the Colts who were clearly screwed by the refs.Fugures a gutless little troll like you would be spouting off this clearly insane rubbish.

Hey douchbag....where was Addai in the second half?

On the bench because we were stopping him cold.

Get lost.

With your reasoning, if your house burned to the ground, you would say that it is a good thing because now there is more open space for birds to fly.

You sir, are a complete fool.

In order to even talk with someone, the two people have to have some agreement, and you and I do not. The refs work during this game was a travisty. I am not whining. Anyone could see the absurdity.

LOL. He was admittedly spent. Nice job in the second half though.

Look, you don't have to argue in favor of the refs. You don't have to protect them. They are crooks.

The colts played tough. they are a very very good team.

For you to even try to reason that the refs were even handed is preposterous.
