It seems to me like the Patriots continue to be portrayed as the "evil" team against the choir boy Colts every time these teams pair up. People are whining about the Pats running up the score on teams and making inferences that someone should take Brady out late in a game. Its become ridiculous. People blasting Belichick for taping opposing signals when Jimmy Johnson said he did the same thing. Brady being depicted like this bad person where Manning is american apple pie
I think what we are seeing across the country right now is a bunch of jealousy that has manifested itself to the point where you know you have arrived. The Pats are now on what could be the greatest run in the modern era, 3 bowls already in the bank. It doesn't look like there is any reason why more cannot come.
People are tired of you winning championships. And are petrified at the fact that it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon.
Enjoy it. It really isn't often people get to root for a team who can reach that level of dominance.
As a sidenote- Randy Moss is the most amazing skill player ive seen on a football field in my life. that includes Barry Sanders. He is just now finally on a stage where he can express it nationally. I feel very good for him that he has been able to shine to the level that i always felt he could. And the odd thing is he seems to even be lacking 1/2 of a step from where he was in his minnesota days, but it still doesnt matter
