It seems to me like the Patriots continue to be portrayed as the "evil" team against the choir boy Colts every time these teams pair up. People are whining about the Pats running up the score on teams and making inferences that someone should take Brady out late in a game. Its become ridiculous. People blasting Belichick for taping opposing signals when Jimmy Johnson said he did the same thing. Brady being depicted like this bad person where Manning is american apple pie

I think what we are seeing across the country right now is a bunch of jealousy that has manifested itself to the point where you know you have arrived. The Pats are now on what could be the greatest run in the modern era, 3 bowls already in the bank. It doesn't look like there is any reason why more cannot come.

People are tired of you winning championships. And are petrified at the fact that it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon.

Enjoy it. It really isn't often people get to root for a team who can reach that level of dominance.

As a sidenote- Randy Moss is the most amazing skill player ive seen on a football field in my life. that includes Barry Sanders. He is just now finally on a stage where he can express it nationally. I feel very good for him that he has been able to shine to the level that i always felt he could. And the odd thing is he seems to even be lacking 1/2 of a step from where he was in his minnesota days, but it still doesnt matter

Appreciate the kind words, Nick. Feel free to hop on the Pats as your AFC team. Nothing wrong with that. And good luck to Big Blue- except for week 17! I've been rooting for the G-men ever since they drafted Kiwanuka.

As a Sports fan I appreciate dominance because I like watching people who are the best at what they do.

When I was a kid I liked Don Mattingly, Roger Clemens, Dan Marino, Michael Jordan. My appreciation of talent went beyond just the home teams.

I rooted against the Yankees because thats just a Boston thing but it amazes me how much people can hate those who are great.

Actually, I think the problem is Brady keeps throwing it 1/2 step behind him..... Did you see him just blow by defenders on that bomb today? Awesome.

I hate the Patriots because they are from Boston, where bigots are located. That's one reason. I used to respect Boston till the incident between the Nets and Celtics in the 2002 playoffs where the Celtics fans spewed racial epithets at Byron Scott, Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson, Kenyon Martin, and Aaron Williams. The chant of "Wifebeater" at Jason Kidd infuriated me. It was great to see Byron Scott take a dig at Celtics fans a year later.

I have no use for the city of Boston.

You couldn't pay me to live there.

My hatred to Boston sports teams is second to none because of their bigoted fans.

The 55 yard bomb to Moss was a huge play. Moss also converted some key first downs. So Moss is still looking great. OP, I think that there are just a lot of jealous, spiteful people out there. It is getting really silly. I wonder how they will spin the Patriots win now?

I agree. I love watching dominance, its why i watch sports. Its something i would aspire my team to go to. But from afar i have always admired dominant teams and dominant runs. Like UNLV the year where no one could match them in ncaa hoops. I hated the Bulls because Im a Knick fan, but in retrospect i appreciate just how huge MJ and that run was, and how dominant they were. Obviously hated Dallas too as a Giants fan, but their run in the mid 90s was special. The cap is the only thing that stopped that team form winning more

I think sports become more fun when there is a truly dominant team that everyone loves to hate, but you have to appreciate the dominance

Brady to Moss is ridiculous to watch

Boston a bigot town... Uh, its the ******* capitol of education. Mass is liberal and smart. I'm sorry, but if you want a bigot town, look no further than Miami, LA, Chicago, New Orleans, Indy, pretty much anywhere other than the NE.

yes because we all know a group of senseless celtics fans represents the entire city of boston

I hate Indianapolis as a whole because some guy made a sign, and put it over the patriot's field entrance that said, "cheaters exit here".

You're clearly a dumb bunny... since every community has good/bad people.

I'm sure everyone just loves the New Jersey area... right folks????

There are racists in every state or city, including your own. That's a tragic part of life. Are you going to abandon your own teams? You must be unaware that Boston was the cradle of the abolitionist movement, the home town of the President who proposed the Civil Rights Act, or that the Celtics are the franchise that featured the first all-African American starting five and first African American head coach. You need to educate yourself. There's a world of knowledge out there.

Yeah chanting wife beater at a guy who beat his wife is way out of line.

Get a clue ******.

You are spot on. . . . . .

That would be NY when it comes to best education.

NY is more diversed compared to Boston.

The behavior the Celtics fans have toward the Nets players in the 2002 playoffs proved my point and I am glad Byron Scott exposed you idiots for what you are.

I'm a Dallas fan who's been posting here for over a year, and I DON'T get the hate for the Pats either.

I can honestly say I've rooted for the Pats in all but 2(Dallas and Washington) games this year.

Kidd was innocent, you realize that.

Joumana Kidd is a loser. A whiner who tends to be annoying. She was a pain in the ass towards the Nets management when she and her husband came to town here. She whined about the lifestyle and such. She tends to lie and embellish things. She is not a nice person, which is one reason why J-Kidd had a divorce with here.

So why don't you tell me why Bill Russell hated his time as a Celtic because of the racial slurs that he endured there. How come African-American players complain about the way they get treated over there?
