That's one of the easiest games left for SF and they lost it, a very winnable game. Please keep it up, 49ers. Please start WINNING, jets and Rams. (Not bothering with you, dolphins.)

Anytime the 9ers lose, it's a good day of football. When the Patriots win, it's icing on the cake!

Yes I'm finding myself following their score on the ticker a lot more than pervious seasons! Can't wait till a Patriots Jersey is presented to a polayer in NY this spring.

That rocked :) They still have 3 out of 4 on the road :

@Sea
St. Louis
@Arizona
@Carolina
Minn
Cincy
TB
@Cle

Maybe Bad-ell can retroactively change the #1 he steals from us :D

I am pissed the Jets didn't win today.

Never thought I would be saying that this season.

That should be reversed - the Patriots' win is the cake, the 49er loss is the icing.

It is time to start rooting for them. I wasn't pissed, though. I was kind of hoping they won but there's no way I can be disappointed by a Jester loss.

Oh man...how long till I can buy draft guides :D

Jake Long at LT. Move Matt Light to RT. Keep Kaczur as a swing backup. All is good.

If we don't draft a top-notch, playmaking LB or CB, and opt for LT instead, I will cry.

:)

We have some issues on defense, hopefully a couple can be taken care of in FA. We'll still have our #2, #3 and the Raiders' #3. My priority now is to ENSURE that we get another 6 years out of Tommy and his fellow Michigan (soon to be) alumnus is just the man to do it.

Well if that LT is the next Willie Roaf or something I could understand it. Otherwise I have my eye on Darren McFadden right now. :D
Maroney just dances too much at the line, and that's a liability against a quick defense that pursues well like the Colts featuring Bob Sanders.

I mean just look at what Adrian Peterson is doing. That kid can take over ballgames all by himself.
How much of a relief would it be for Brady to be able to handoff to a guy like that?

The Pats were forced to throw more than they wanted to this game because the run game wasn't very productive.
That leads to more turnovers and makes it easier for the defense to predict what you're trying to do.

GBNreport.com just updated their front page, and the pick is now number 4. There will be a lot of options. Kenny phillips, maybe Connor or Laurinaitis, Chris Long. A tackle would be nice too. What about McFadden in the backfield with Maroney, like Tyalor and Peterson in Minnesot. Nah, that would never happen :rolleyes:

What? Maroney played well today. That 3rd down play where he got stopped was not his fault at all. That's on the blocking. Although I wouldn't mind getting McFadden and putting him and Maroney on the field at the same time.

ANyone read Blindside? If he come sout early, Michael Oher would be an absolute beast too.

Oh my God, can we PLEASE stop with the myth of Maroney "dancing at the line?" The guy has been hitting the hole SOLIDLY since game 2. This is such nonsense. And if anyone tries to pin it on Maroney that Sanders busted through Mankins AND Heath Evans to take Maroney down in the backfield, I think my hair will catch on fire. Honestly, people, it's complete B.S.

NONSENSE AGAIN. This is ridiculous. Did you watch the game? The run game became ineffective when they went to the well 3 too many times on that fooling-nobody shotgun draw to Faulk. Maroney ran EXTREMELY well today.

Not counting the Pats' rematch, it's a win-win situation far as the Jets go. If the Jets win, that will likely improve the draft position of the "49ers" 1st round pick. If the Jets lose, the Rat draws ever closer to getting canned, hopefully to never land a HC again. Look at all the worst teams in NFL history, the majority of the coaches of those teams ended up losing their jobs after the season, and in some cases during. Mangini is already losing his players...could you imagine if they finish 1-15? Who would possibly want to play for him? I'll root for the Jets to lose by principle, but I also wouldn't mind it if they won against Pittsburgh or Tennessee.
