Can't remember who it was, but 2 guys were picking the Colts because they are MUCH more physical than the Pats. Theyt were both pretty adamant about this being the difference in the game.

I think it was that Pro Football Weekly TV show.

I truthfully believe that a law shouyld instituted that calls for you to be tested before you become a sports analyst or expert.

I'd just have to say that at this point people are saying anything that pops into their minds in order to justify their picks.

It's farcical.

i heard marshall faulk pick manning over brady yesterday b/c "Manning makes the players around him so much better".

unreal.

eric ****erson was on cowherd and picked the colts because ne can't run the football. Unreal.

To cowherds credit, when they got back from break cowherd railed about how he was sick of people saying pats can't run and then recited a bunch of stats that prove otherwise.

When you're sure of your own command of the facts
... it can be pretty amusing
to accept other people's ignorant ranting when you know they are wrong
... as standup comedy.

Don't have to get angry at it.

I have seen comments on NFL Channel about the Colts CB's being more physical then the Pats. Personally, you can't really listen to what anyone says, just watch the team. I've watched a couple of Colts games, they are good, no doubt ! Bob Sanders is a nasty menace, he has to be avoided and schemed against by the OC. But after watching average offenses move the ball on them at least a few times, I have to think our offense will keep them off their game and score. I know this game can go anywhere as far as results, but if it's not tight ( no matter the winner ), the effect on the NFL will be like avalanche. Everyone will be going " Oh My God "

The Pats are going to try and score over 50, no matter what Indy scores. If their able too, I don't see the Colts offense scoring enough to keep up against the Pats defense.

Pats 52, Colts 17
I go low on the Colts because if the Pats are a scoring machine, Manning will make bad plays trying to keep up. That's where I think brains on defense will help them more then physical speed. Shutting down the Colts running game with the guys up front will be huge, it'll be very hard to stack the box and still keep those pass catchers covered.

I'm dying to see what these two teams try to do to each other, this is football !!!

Jeremy Green of SCouts,Inc. and one Dennis Green's son picked the Colts because their linebackers and corners are better than the Pats. Talk about unreal.

It's one of those things if you're wrong no one will remember in a few weeks but, if you were one of the few who were right you're a genius forever.

Dennis Green's son?

Wow......!

Let here from every branch of the Stupid Tree.

Jeremy Green was an advance scout and his work has been excellent so far. He really picked apart a lot of what the Patriots do. I take his predictions with a grain of salt, but he definitely knows the game.

First of all...is there anybody, Colt or Patriot fan, that really thinks the Colts linebackers are better than the Patriots?? If you want to discuss DB's, fine, I can make a case for both sides there, but LB's, um no way.

Secondly, Colts have a fast and quick "little" defense. They are undersized, just about everywhere. Take a real long and hard look at both teams and it will be clearly evident how big NE will look in comparison, because NE is much bigger. However, to say they can possibly be more physical is ridiculous. Colts D'backs can bing some pretty hard hits, no question, but I also think NE will wear them down with a massive running and short game attack the likes of which they have never seen before.

Finally, once the Colts have been run over, those DB's won't quite be bringing as hard as they were when the game started and then you will see the superior Pats WR's take final control of this game.

Patriots win in an eventual laugher. I have no doubts in my mind at all.

HA HA HA HA HA ...that is the funniest thing I have ever heard.....Sanders DREAMS of being Rodney.....lil Bob is a great talent, but if Rodney and he collided, he would be collecting his pension and eating his food through a straw..........I hope BB gets a hold of that feed....and plays it for the team before kickoff.........This is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard in regards to questioning the toughness/physical nature of the Pats.........unreal...

Marshall f**k should just sit there and speak only when announcing that they are going to commercial.......He is the biggest horse's a## when it comes to anything about football....other than when he use to run the ball when he was young......other than that he is a moron.....

Yeah...Bob sanders is a very good CB....I get that.....BUT what about the rest of the secondary....how are they? One man does not make a team,......and besides Freeney and Sanders I don't see alot of allstars on that D..........could be wrong......

Our corners are our 1st and 2nd round draft picks from 05, both were from the Big Ten conference, Jackson from Michigan and Hayden from Illinois. Jackson is known more for hard hits and Hayden used to be a receiver, has good hands. Bethea is a bit more of a surprise, 6th rounder out of Howard in 06, but has been a hard hitter and earned the start in his rookie year. He is better in pass coverage than Sanders, but of course Sanders can help out extremely well in the run. Of course Sanders was a second round 04 pick out of Iowa.

As you can see they are young and inexperienced. But they are young and hard hitting too.

That's what I heard ! But I don't think they'll stand up to Brady's onslaught.
