Will the rest of the season be anti-climatic? The only other meaningful game, I see, will be the meeting with Pitt. Will the Pats regress or will BB be able to keep the players eyes on the Trophy?

Your thoughts.....

Are you kidding? Countdown to perfection, Corey's return, records shattering, the Jets...this will be fun. Then there's our first round draft pick and the Mangina Meltdown.

Here's to hoping we get SD/Indy next week!

Don't forget the Philly game where McNabb gets punked for talking all that smack.

And AD's revenge against the Ravens after Lewis called him a coward.

I'm not quite sure I agree with this. Granted, this is the biggest regular season game they're going to play--especially when adding in all the postsesaon implications it brings with it--but each and every game looks to have its own storyline:

@ Buff - a much better team than people give them credit for. Take away that ridiculous comeback against Dallas and the last-second loss to Denver and they very well could be 5-2, right in the middle of the playoff discussion

Phi - Eff Donovan McNabb, his comments were completely unwarranted, especially considering he was the one throwing up on the field during the last drive. He has no one to blame but himself for that SB loss.

@ Balt - A pretty good (though overrated) defense should be a bit of a challenge, but the Ray Lewis comments will certainly be played over and over this week.

Pitt - The last true 'test' for the Pats, and while I think they win the game--especially at home--it will give them a potential preview of a playoff matchup.

NYJ - Nothing needs to be said here. 98-0.

Mia - The team with the champagne; the history, one week before the Pats could, potentially, rewrite that history.

NYG - Last week of the regular season. Will starters be pulled early, or not play at all? The Giants might be playing for a spot in the playoffs, and while the Pats will (presumably) have the next week off, I think Belichick goes for the jugular and plays this one as though it's a playoff game.

Uh, dude, they are all meaningful. If we win Sunday we will have a 1 game lead (plus tiebreaker) against the Colts - but the Colts could still go 15-1. One slipup along the way (Steelers, @Ravens, @Bills who are playing much better lately, etc.) and we could be fighting to keep the #1 seed in week 17 at the NYG. Otherwise we could be going BACK to Indy in late January.

This is one of the funniest threads I've ever seen. Can it get a sticky for the rest of the year, that way the trolls can just come back to this one after tomorrow and you guys can have the rest of the forum to yourself?

I don't think we'll see any more Colts trolls after the game tomorrow...

You speak as though you, yourself, are not a troll. That's funny.

I'm glad my initial impression of this guy wasn't wrong. I was feeling bad for railing on him so hard in another thread. But since he's showing his true troll colors here, I tend to think what I did was spot on.

When someone comes on here with the name he chose, there should be little doubt in anyone's mind what his intentions are. Eff him, and eff the real Easterbrook.

LOL That's essentially the response he got in the other thread. I'm just glad I'm not the only person that sees that handle and automatically assumes said person is a dirtbag.

Nah...we'll still be looking forward to Indy's week 10 trip to SD - great way to pass the bye. There will be enough media hype thereafter to take care of business. Buffalo could be tough/scrapy on the road but a good game in which to regain focus and for Bill to gather talking points.

Miami here will be the mercy game, we hold ourselves under 50. The JETS here could reach triple digits. Baltimore can be tough as they want on D, without an O it means little. Pittsburgh's young HC was a little too chatty early on, and Ben is still Ben. As is NcNabb. Just like Eli is still a putz - Asante could close out the season with a pick 3 in the Meadowlands. And with a bye the starters will play at least 3 quarters, and more if Plexiglass has any luck bailing Eli out.

Going for the points record against the Jets would be a good time... well deserved as well.
