I look at rookie OL Ugoh guarding up against Seymour (Seymour with HUGE edge)
and
Ellis Hobbs CB guarding up against Reggie Wayne who is likely his man (Wayne has buried Hobbs before)

What player to player matchup do you look at being as one-sided?

Moss vs. 2 Dbacks. Go Pats. :rocker:

Our O-line against their front 4.

Brady should have plenty of time. It's gonna be sweet.

GO PATS

Malroney running against Indy's undersized DTs.

Someone remind Hobbs to turn around and look at the ball this time. I still find that PI call to be bs since it hit Hobbs in between the shoulder blades. Wayne had no chance had Hobbs turned his head.

The biggest mismatch will be Adalius Thomas vs Dallas Clark. Clark will not see the light of day.

Biggest mismatch is Pats vs. Colts.

thats if he plays, imagine what Seymour would do to the other rook I forgot his name.

The Pats DL is so tough to defend against. Seymour has to get doubled. That would most likely be Fletcher and Ugoh. You gotta double Wilfork. That eats a guard and center. That leaves a tackle and guard on Warren. The matchups I see are Vrabel > Manning and Warren > Scott. If Scott leaves Warren to cover a blitzing Vrabel, Warren makes the play. If not Vrabel hampers Manning. The Colts have a good Oline though so I think these will be key matchups. Vrabel will not get to Manning the way he got to Campbell. Manning's release is too fast and his awareness is polished. I like the Pat's chances of their Dline hindering Manning much more than the Colt's hindering Brady. All the Pats have to do is halt 3 Colts drives to leave Indy victorious.

Jeff Saturday is one of the best,If not THE best center in the league,He will probably keep Wilfork at bay most of the game - with help at times during blitz packages by the Pats.

Saturday should have been MVP of last years SB - He was simply amazing.

In case you didn't notice, Seymour looked quite unready to do very much in his last performance.

Charlie Johnson is not a rookie, he played extensively last year and played most of the Super Bowl.

Saturday pancaked Wilfork on the Addai TD run...it was a thing of beauty. Of course, Saturday was already moving him out of the way, but the whole thing looked even better because Bruschi got dominated right into Wilfork's way and actually wound up tripping him.

So you think he'll handle Wilfork himself?

Wayne on Hobbs gives me nightmares. But no matter, we'll outscore the colts. We finally have the guns for a shootout against the colts. BTW, my guess when I posted at work this morning was 31-27.

He will need help at times but not all game,I think Warren and Seymour are up for big games while Wilfork will do his best to clog the middle and keep Addai running outside where he is not so great.

I would sweep Addai to the left early and test Seymour's lateral movement, but yeah, that isn't Addai's strong suit.

Thats the biggest difference to me between Addai and Maroney
- Addai is superb with grabbing the ball and pounding it right up the gut, especially since the tackles and center are very good whic hgets him nice holes to run up into,However when he gets to the outside he seems out of character and usually gets little gains most of the time

The opposite for Maroney who does not rush into the middle of the LOS too well but when he gets a nice run to either side of the field you know its going for at least 10 or more yards - Maroney is NOT a good up the middle runner IMO,Addai is and thats the difference between these two.
