ESPN reports Vrabel out of game. Is it true?

Re: Vrabel out?

I just saw that Clayton reported that

Re: Vrabel out?

Did he say it as fact? It seems very weird as Vrabel was in for the onside kick at the end of the Redskin game.

Re: Vrabel out?

Is that the only thing he said? Did he say why, what happened, etc.

Re: Vrabel out?

Vrabel is questionable for the game. That is what the PATRIOTS reported. I have no idea where Clayton is getting his info from.

But around here, if Mike Reiss isn't reporting it, I'm not buying it.

Re: Vrabel out?

He actually didn't even mention it, which was strange.

But the screen read...

Morris, Vrabel out; Harrison uncertain

Re: Vrabel out?

I'll believe it when I see it, he was questionable on today's injury report. If he didn't go I still would be interested to see AD play some OLB.

Re: Vrabel out?

Booger Clayton is a pathetic colts lover.

If he didn't say it, it's probably an error by some video guy.

Re: Vrabel out?

I don't believe it. There was nothing wrong with him at the end of the game. Unless it happened in practice. And then how would clayton know its so late in the week. BB would keep it under his hat.

Yes, he's making sh*t up because he's a pathetic Colts lover. Get some sleep, man.

Re: Vrabel out?

I watched Clayton on ESPN a little while ago, and I didn't see where he said anything about Vrabel being out.

Clayton did say even though Ben Watson missed practice friday he's expected to play sunday. I hope he's correct.

Honestly, after the game Vrabel looked fine, and during his friday interview it didn't seem at all like Vrabes wasn't going to play. So, I doubt Mike is out for this game.

Errors and Clayton/ESPN Part

Re: Vrabel out?

When I saw it I thought OMG, but the graphic didn't match what he was saying:

Morris, Vrabel out; Harrison questionable

I think it should have been:

Morris, Harrison out; Vrabel questionable.

Plus, while he was talking about it I thought I heard him say "Morris and Harrison will be out but it looks like Vrabel will be ok after a shoulder injury" or something like that.

It's bad enough that the media hates us, but now I think they're trying to mess with us too

Even more proof that he's going to play. Injured Players who are not going to play or practice, disappear on this team. You don't see them and they don't talk to the media.

Another possibility is it should have read:

Morris out; Vrabel, Harrison uncertain

But as everyone else has pointed out, there's no way BB would say this now. The only way he would say this before game time is if Vrabel's not in good enough shape to board the plane. I'm going to assume that's not the case until/unless I hear otherwise.

Re: Vrabel out?

Looks like it was a mistake. From Clayton's injury updates (dated today) on ESPN.com insider:

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=3092212

"Linebacker Mike Vrabel is questionable with a shoulder injury but he will play. He's coming off the best game of his career. Watson is listed as questionable, but should play."

"Wide receiver Marvin Harrison missed another practice Friday because of his knee injury and may not be able to play. The odds aren't favoring him being out there because the team is concerned that playing him with the knee injury could keep him out for more games. Left tackle Tony Ugoh missed Friday's practice and is also questionable."
