I wonder in thoose Defense only meetings, if there not feeling overlooked and disrespected with all the talk going on about all the fireworks that will be on display in Sundays game, and we know Bellichick has been on them this season about how they tackle. Don't be suprised if they steal the spotlight on Sunday, I've got a feeling Peyton is gonna take a beating, esp. if he has to pass alot to try and catch up.

Re: Defense with a chip on it's Shoulder?

Our defense is an embarrassment. They can't hold their own against this great Indy offense. They proved that last year with their embarrassing collapse in the AFCG. This defense can't even stop the run, Miami mauled them and rant hrough them like swiss cheese. Ellis Hobbs has been getting pwned all season. Bruschi is old, grandfather time has caught up. They are not very good.

maybe their not the best but they do have alot of pride, and leadership and I'm sure that nobody will agree with you that "they are not very good."

We really are spoiled around here.

At least they lead the NFL in Fantasy points, and I have 8 teams with the pats DST and they all have a winning record, one is 8-0.

You forgot that Rodney Harrison is a ****ey, AD is a has been, Big Sey over rated, and Vince Wilfork is going to have his lunch eaten by Jeff Saturday!

My bet is that the lunch crack is REALLY gonna motivate Wilfie.

Ty Warren and Mike Vrabel don't even belong in the league. It's pretty clear that nepotism is the only reason they even have jobs. The entire defense will be lucky to make even one play that doesn't allow 10 yards or more before they stop it. And, now that Harrison's off the HGH, he hits like a girl. The Patriots will be lucky to hold the Colts under 60 points.

Don't forget the coaching. We could field 11 Chuck Norrises and not hold the Colts to less than 80 with our schemes.

I never thought that I'd say this but our D has gone soft. They seem just want to sit back and relax and let he offense do the heavy lifting this year.

What was once a group of tough, prideful, take no prisoners football players are now just a group of cheerleaders. How many times have you seen them on the sideline smiling and laughing while the offense wins the game? Soft, I tell ya! Soft and lazy!

the defense was great in the AFC Champship game until they ran out of gas. that won't happen this year.

they were able to pressure mannign early and often then the guys started dropping

Pressure? This defensive line will be lucky if they can get pressure on a class of Gatorade. Manning might as well bring a lawn chair, because he's going to have time to get a suntan, even through the roof.

are you a pats fan? i'm guessing not. vrabel has three forced fumbles last week. the defense is gonna represent on sunday

Am I missing something here, this has gotta all be sarcasm...

Thank goodness only 48 hours left.

Yep,

So, we don't need a punter, we don't need (something else - I forget now), and we don't need this lousy defense.

Ok.

Maybe we can start figuring out what we need. I think that we need that Christine Akra girl. Yea, that is my vote.

Might as well sign Earthwind Moreland and Monty Beisel with the bums we have out there right now.

Actually, 49. [Don't forget we switch back to Standard Time on Sunday. :snob: ]

Great, thanks for that wonderful news. The one darn weekend that is longer than the others and it has to be this one!
