Ok so on clsoer inspection they have a rally every week...which I think might make it worse. But it said hundreds of people were there today. Why is this the top story on indystar?

I wonder how mamy of them will be arrested or killed.

Of ALL the things one could b!tch about.

That's about the same amount of people who showed up for their victory parade.

Who's going to lead the "Brady sucks!" chant?

They do it on Friday before EVERY home game, they are not doing this just because they are playing the Pats...

Which still make sit pretty sad. Like I said, I'm now more concerned with why an every week pep rally is front and center on the newspaper of record. Whatever.

I don't see the big deal here, they have been doing this for along time, Im sure if you did some more inspections you will see that other teams probably do something like this also..

You can call it sad if you want thats your god given right, but if the Pat were doing something like that im sure you wouldn't think it was sad

Honestly? It just seems kind of funny. Like a high school pep rally. Maybe more teams do it, just never heard of it.

The same reason they have a rally every week.

umm...I might not say it but I would think it. :D

I think it's sweet.

To be honest there isn't a heck of a lot to do in Indy, so it just gives people something to do, I think they started it awhile back when support wasn't at the highest in Indy when we had LA rumors flying around, they were just trying to reach out to the fans to get them behind the team. Im sure it might seem silly to other teams fans. I have never been to a rally, I don't see driving two hours to one.

It shows support for their team... who really cares if they have a rally? C'mon guys, lets not get whiney and make fun of people for supporting their team.

Please do enlighten us on how many that was? I am assuming that was prior to the 60,000 at the stadium who waited hours to hold the victory celebration. Tommysgirl huh? So sad for him.

Fair enough, but it does leave Indy wide open for a lot of jokes. warranted or not.

yeah does seem kind of High Schoolish when you think about it. Its probably a cool place to be able to hang out with people of your favorite team though, but I have never been and doubt I ever will because I just live too far away, now I don't mind driving the two hours for the games though..:D
