On the NFL Network's segment of 'Tale Of The Tape' where they show different parts of a teams offense Rod Woodson was about 50-50 for both teams on the topics of edge at QB,WR,OL,RB,TE - Marshall Faulk on the other hand gave EVERY part of the offense in the favor of Indy which spawned a surprised Rich Eisen to ask why and to which Faulk replied
"I just think they have the edge in every catagory on offense"

Now I know his team the Rams were surprised by us in SB 36 and I know he played his early years for the Colts but for him to not give the edge to NE in ANY catagory on offense simply cries out loud of how much he hates this team.

Maybe the network should get a more biased person on there who thinks with their head instead of the hatred in thier heart.

I think Faulk would even give the edge to Notre Dame on Offense if it played the Patriots in a college/pro scrimmage.

He's still sore about the beating his team took in 01.

Still at little bitter at the Pats for the Superbowl loss, Marshall!?!?!

=D

Saw it. At least Rod Woodson called him out on it. Basically it was getting disgusting. He gave the Colts O-Line an edge. Are you kidding me? Running back, yes. QB, could go either way. Receivers (right now as was asked)...Pats and the O-Line was the biggest joke.

Oh well...want to see his reaction when we *****slap the Colts.

Well, lest we forget, the better team didn't win in XXXVI, and the Rams lost the game themselves. What a bitter, bitter man.

Reggie Wayne and Anthony Gonzalez better than Moss, Welker, and Stallworth? That's funny.

Not as long as Charlie Weis coaches there.

all this motivation is wonderful, BB can have a few days off this week

Marshal Faulk might be the biggest A-hole on TV. I hate him more than anyone on TV. Even looking at his face I just want to punch it. He is definitly one of those guys who get under my skin. He should of stuck with football because media is something he just isn't good at.

Well I'd ask marshall this...

Let's assume the Colts have the better WR, OL, TE, and RB. How the hell do you THEN come to the conclusion that the QB is better when the QB of the team with worse WR, OL, TE, and RB has the far better "stats", on pace to shatter every single season passing record?

I thought Marshall Faulk and Kevin Faulk were cousins. What they aren't that close or something?

For whatever reason this kind of thinking is prevalent in the media. Not that I think Tiki Barber was screwed out of an MVP award, but he put up over 400 more yards from scrimmage despite being on a much worse team while Alexander has two All-Pros on his Offensive Line and half his damn offense on the Pro Bowl team playing in a weaker division and their offense overall wasn't much better than New York's by any stretch.

I just don't understand why people get so worked up over the opinions of sportswriters, radio hosts or television commentators. Those people are generally not any smarter than the average bear. They might have more information than the average fan, but that doesn't make their opinions more right than the 6 pack drinking stiff down at the local pub. Whether it's Marshall Faulk, Skip Bayless or Glenn Ordway, they are still just guessing, as their wins/losses records at the end of each season tend to prove. If you find someone who's opinion you value, follow that person and ignore the people you think are clowns. After all, it's just entertainment.

True, true, true....

but, maybe it's human nature to want someone of prominence (national media, in this case) to validate our opinions......

FYI, this is also the same Tale of the Tape he had when it came to Pats vs. Rams in the 2001 superbowl! :D

The NFL needs someone who will give the Colts an edge in order to drum up business. Let's face it, almost everyone is giving the Pats the edge.

listen to his interview on the dan patrick show yesterday...nothing if not biased

Marshall Faulk would give the edge to the Colts at QB if Jim Sorgi was playing.

In Madden 2008, Marshall Faulk predicted that the computer's Dolphins would beat my Patriots 35-7.

It's scary when they can program idiocy so accurately.
