My impression is that LoMo is lining up about a yard closer to the LOS this year. Has anyone else noticed this?
Its called zone blocking. He still ( to me anyway) seems like he's taking a litle extra time to get back to the LOS. However, I think he's really starting to put it all together at the NFL level and he is going to have sime huge bust out games soon.
If thats true its great news. Running the way he did last year is a formula for shortning a career. To many hard hits.Last year there was crit that he ran too straight up, which was true. I watched a few plays closely last Sunday and he was NOT running straight up FWIW. He HAS made changes.
Its called zone blocking.
I think it's the zone blocking the OL has used this year. He's more comfortable with it since zone blocking was used at Minnesota.

Chris
