Anybody concerned about the Colts rookie WR Anthony Gonzalez?

Don't tell me you are comparing Gonzalez to Welker. Don't you get to watch any games in Iraq? You obviously have the internet.

Noooooo - I don't believe that is what I was doing. Welker has done a great job. He plays all the time. He changed the offense. Despite what your "intelligent" brothers have stated - he HAS NOT played that much. Ergo, there cannot be that much so SEE on him. Gonzalez will be one of the X-factors in this game.

More like X out of the offense for this week. I'm sure Peyton Manning is going to rely on a rookie in the biggest game of the year for the Colts.

gay should be able to take him out of the game...and then sum

OK - let me spell it out for you. He hasn't played that much. There is virtually no tape on him. Get it?

Last I checked, Anthony Gonzalez was a 4-year starter at THE Ohio State University. Also last I checked, that's a pretty high profile College Football Program, and I'm pretty sure most, if not all, of their games are on television.

I'm pretty confident there's plenty of tape available on Anthony Gonzalez. And if the Patriots forgot how the Colts use their slot position, I'm sure they could dig out an old gametape or two with Stokely or Clark.

How ridiculous.

When Harrison was down, Gonzalez didn't get a lot of balls thrown his way.. They went more to Clark and Utecht and Addai out of the backfield.

The excuses were flying out of the announcers mouths.. Saying how hard it is for a player to come into such an established offense and earn time.. yadda yadda, yadda.

We talk about Harrison and Wayne and Clark which are the big threats but is anyone worrying about a guy BB and the team has never seen play against us,rookie WR Anthony Gonzalez?
Well that's like saying if the Patriots activate wide receiver Chad Jackson this week, will the Colts worry about the Patriots second year wide receiver?

From what I've seen of Anthony so far this season...he's not there yet.

Yea, he'll get looks simply because the Colts have such good offensive weapons around him, but Wes Welker he is not.

Is the Gonzalez kid a guy to worry about catching passes out of the slot like Welker does or do you think he is not ready for a good showing against the Pats D?

If the defense looks past this kid, Peyton will find him for big gains,I hope we can contain the youngster as well as slow down the star receivers we all have seen before.

I don't think Dungy will use him much in a big game. Maybe he'll put him in to create confusion or decoy but we should be prepared.
