Apparently, Crayton had a busy day yesterday. He took swipes at the Pats on First Take, NFL Live, and the Colin Cowherd show. It was a regular ESPN Idiot Tour. What he said on the Cowherd show might actually be the most moronic though.

While on Cowherd's show, he let it accidentally slip in a response that some teams "have gotten a few good calls against them (the Cowboys)" that he quickly changes to "a few good plays" when he was talking about . When Cowherd presses him that he said "calls" and not plays, he said "a certain team" has gotten good calls against the Cowboys. Later in the interview, he says of the "so called" PI call on Watkins where the tripped up Moss in the endzone "for any other team it would be incidental contact, but they're the Patriots".

Here is the link to his segment, but you gotta be an ESPN Insider to hear:

Anyone wonder why Belichick is running up the score. Two weeks later and Crayton is still obsessed with the Patriots loss rather than focusing in on the Eagles. I am sure that is a huge psychological advantage if we meet in the Super Bowl.

What? Is this guy running for President or something?

When does this scrub go on his book signing/concert tour?

By the way, the first comment was about a minute in. He goes on his Pats rant about 7:30 in including trashing the Pats defense and the refs screwed the Cowboys comment.

As Archie Bunker would say, SHUT UP YOU! I remember the line Belichick used about Steve Gutman one time, something to the effect of "Never has a guy that has won nothing talked so much". That's Patrick Crayton.

Can anyone ever imagine Belichick letting say Wes Welker or Donte Stallworth heading down to Bristol, CT on a Tuesday before a big division game? Would Stallworth or Welker even consider it.

could care less.. says more about ESPN than him. Anyone who opens a mouth is invited as a great player to their premises. We dont play them anymore.screw the cowboys.

This guy should give half his salary to Terry Glenn as thanks for getting injured and moving his ass up on the depth chart.

I can't remember his exact comments on NFL live. But basically he said something like even bad dogs have their day or something like that, making it sound like the Patriots were lucky to beat them. I guess this guy never heard of Freddie Mitchell before. I was thanking him for the bulletin board material just in case they meet again.

God, let the Cowboys make the Super Bowl.

For some reason-it's always a good laugh when someone does their Denny Green impersonation.

You're right, I'm sorry, that never gets old. I giggle away every time they show the Coors commercial with him doing it.

No his comment was much worse. He said even sun shines on dogsh*t once in a while. The other talking heads just laughed. Then Mark 'Cheap Shot' Shrelith (SP?) advocated taking a cheap shot as part of the game (not just the Pats/Brady, but any game).

They were standing on the fake field, doing some play. Mark said that when this happens if the play breaks down and he gets a chance he will take a cheap shot at his opponent. Hit him in the face, right on the chin, even if he gets a penalty. His reasoning is that the other guy would do it to him if he could, so Mark (and the person who is playing Mark's position in a real game) should do it first.

Then at the end he makes a snarky comment about the Pats running up the score (they went for it at the end because Belichick was afraid they would kick 6 FGs at the end of the game). He doesn't even get that he wouldn't know class if it snuck-up and bit him on the Assss, yet he thinks he can call out the Pats for lacking it.

I would think at some point the NFL would not be happy to have this being said (Take a Cheap Shot), nor would ESPN like the legal rammifications if someone gets hurt.

The skins play the jets this weekend, not the eagles.
