My guess is it will be swept under the rug and everyone else will pretend like it never happened.
I didn't read what he said, but seeing it on PTI it didn't seem like that big a deal. He wasn't calling out the pats for running up the score so much as questioning why the redskins weren't going after him.
there's plenty of things to be outraged about in the world. I really don't feel this is one of them.
Bro... ya gotta chill. It is nothing more than a sports writer from the WASHINTON POST spouting crap.
He is entitled to his opinion even if wrong.

Nope! He's certainly not entitled to urge players to use any means necessary to cause serious injury to an individual outside of regular football play.
Did you read what he said? He was very explicit -- he asked opposing players to ignore the whistle, accept whatever penalties are coming and try to injure Brady after the play is over so that he's carted off the field. That's not an "opinion," it's soliciting assault and battery. His employer should be demanding he should retract the statement and apologize. And yes, I'm serious.
Calling for a play that could possibly end Tom Brady's career isn't a big deal?
But he didn't say end his career. He said he'd hit him as hard as he could.
It's the difference between saying a pitcher should throw at a guys head and saying he should plunk a guy in the back to send him a message.
one's generally accepted the other absolutely is not. it's a fine line, but the line is there.
Chill nothing.
How is he entitled, as a professional writer and "expert", to encourage players to injure Brady at any cost? There is freedom of speech but there is also a level of responsibility that comes with that freedom, especially when you have a platform to communicate with the public like Wilbon does. What he did was disgraceful.
