Thanks for posting. That was very entertaining.

Is there a resident Bulletin Board Maintenance guy? Please be certain this is posted in the NE locker room, as it will provide even MORE motivation for the Awesomes!!

57000 plus loonies who will populate the RCA dome......

Pretty accurate description of their fan base.....and most of the Indy trolls........

Sure, I hear the New England fans now: "OK, Belichick got caught red-handed in the videotaping scandal. But we've heard that Colts coach Tony Dungy once failed to rewind his 'Sound of Music' tape from Blockbuster.''

:)

Even the New England media -- a group notorious for its pompom waving -- saw fit to grill the Dear Leader the past two days.

He lost some credibility here. Pompom waving??? Clearly he doesn't see much NE media coverage or have many friends in it.

This isn't a football game.

It's a morality play.

With beer.

That about sums it up!

I wish the Boston writers liked the Pats as much as Kravitz likes the Colts. This guy must read TMQ.

My personal favorite

That's why it's incumbent upon the Indianapolis Colts -- those Beacons of Purity in heavenly conflict with the Forces of Pure Evil -- to not only beat the favored Patriots, but humble them, humiliate them and take their camcorder from them.

Well, it is the difference between small market writers and big market writers. When you are a small market writer, you can get away more with being a homer. I do think our columnists do apply opinions, but don't go over the top like this.

By the way, Kravitz should ask Jets fans if they think Mangini is "right thinking".

Hilarity at its best. I thought this was a very well written article.

Kravitz is the guy who inserts Peyton Manning's tampon. Too bad his knee pads gave out!!

Do original ideas exist in Indiana? Or do all those cowbrain sandwiches stunt your imagination from birth?

That sentence is two words too long. Chop off the last two words.

Indystar is basically a bunch of overweight, bored, insecure women calling pat's fan's do - do heads, and obsessing over the pats day in and day out (seriously)

There was a freaking singles thread on that board one time. Pathetic.

I'm pretty sure that Kravitz dislikes the Colts. He is probably of meds if he says anything positive about them.

Oh boy, now we have to argue which market's media dislikes their local team more, too? It never ends I tells ya'! :)

Actually he was working up to being their most vocal critic through 2003-2005 until he had a career saving ephinay in the closing seconds of the AFCC game in 2006. Once they got to that matchup with the Bears he knew he had to strap on the pom poms for the duration or Polian would have engineered his relocation.

AAAAAAAAAGHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Excellent!!!!

And that is really the crux of it too. Cowbrain sandwiches!!! I frick'n love it. I can actually imagine it! And, I see them smiling all the while. "Yum, this is so smooth and easy to digest." Oh, and it is certainly on like sunbeam, or wonder bread. With miracle whip! Cut into triangles. No crust. With luke warm milk. And a bruised banana.

By now, it should be quite apparent the Patriots have chosen to make a statement this regular season. And that statement is this:
Bite me.
Well, bite us.

Rofl. Funny because it's true!

I wouldn't say he dislikes them. OTOH, he's no fan of Dungy's overwrought humility or Polian's whining to the principal. If he was a Boston writer, the fans on this board would hate him, because he'd be taking Belichick to task.

From this Patriots fan's perspective, he's a good writer who knows football, doesn't kiss Peyton's rear, but doesn't sharpen his axe like Borges or strive to be controversial, like Felger.

I wouldn't mind having him here.

He should have mentioned Bill Polian advocating his team break Doug Flutie's leg while in the press box a couple of years ago. Maybe that's where Mike Wilbon got the idea. A real good sportsman that Polian.

I don't think you have been reading him as long as people from Indy have, he rarely says anything good.
