It's really past the point of ridiculousness by now. The media will always find something to criticize the Pats about, so as Donte' said, they don't and shouldn't care anymore. BB also brought up a GREAT point on WEEI today regarding the decisions to PASS late in some games. The defense is stacking the box and rushing full force to stop the run. You risk injuy more by running it right into that. It's safer and easier to throw there.

It was amazing to see this guy cry about how tired he was about talking about this type of stuff with the Patriots when all along if it wasn't for the candy ***** ESPN reporters making this stuff headline news he wouldn't have to talk about this!!!! All Pats fans should bombard ESPN with emails criticizing what these idiots focus on, what they try to create as "headlines". Let the Pats play the game, let them step on the throat of the opponent. Very true and it's not like these guys should paly ay 75%. IMO that's why opposing teams are getting so injured(Carlos Roger, Renaldo Hill, Ronnie Brown, Paul Poliz)...maybe some of these are freak injuries but the Pats are beating up on other teams.

Parcells said this is a no-win situation for a coach. He said he knows of situations where a team took a knee with a lead and the other team got upset that they are being embarrassed. He also said the coach has 40 seconds to make the decision not the 24 hours the analysts have to criticize the decision (I am paraphrasing).

parcells was diplomatic as always . said he has seen situations when you take a knee on 4th down other teams say they are embarrased. when you run it they are embarassed , and when you throw it you are embarrassed. So its a no win for the coaches and also they need to decide this in 40 secs not like 24 hrs which everyone here has had.
Keyshawn said they shouldve run up the score because thats their job.Said also you dont know if there is something from the past between BB and gibbs. Which i thought was interesting. Maybe in the 80's when BB was the D coordinator and gibbs was with the skins there was a similar situation. Would be great if someone can dig those scores up.
