General George Patton:

"I don't want any messages that we are holding our position. We'll let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy! We're gonna hold onto him by the nose and we're gonna kick him in the ass! We're gonna kick the hell out of him all the time and we're gonna go through him like crap through a goose!!!! You know, I actually pity those poor bastards we're going up against..."

Bills been manufacturing this season for the sole purpose of redeeming his teams loss last year to the Colts in the AFCCG (38-34). A game we could have and should have won! We eased up on the gas pedal in the second half and got pasted. There will be no repeat of this in the future. This has been made abundantly clear to all!

William Tecumseh Sherman

The Union general wanted to end the Civil War as quickly as possible so he enacted a 'scorched earth' policy on his march to Atlanta and the sea, burning anything that could be used to help the Confederacy. Even some in the North questioned whether his tactics went too far..(sound familiar?)....

Sounds very familiar! I'll take the General that wins at "all costs" over some General that cares more about not losing than winning.

Go Patriots!!!

That would have been Gen. George McClellan. As President Lincoln once wired him because of his aversion to combat,

 The closest BB will ever got to the military was hiding behind his late father's career at Navy.

And tell us where all the Colts served at please?

that is great, I used to listen to this speech before football games back in the day! I can still hear his voice in my head!!! hahaha

Please tell us you are not a Patriots fan who is upset by our margins of victory....PLEASE!

If we were to maintain our scoring pace, the Patriots have a "chance" to break the Minnesots Vikings season scoring record. This means that the Vikings must have run up the score quite a few times themselves.

Keep in mind there are several teams that barely fell short of the Vikings record and we all know they could not have been in 52-34 type games all season.

I would rather have the most dominant team EVER than a team that was the 4th or 5th most dominant team ever because their coach was nice and let up at the end to keep "honor".

If I had the personnel the Patriots have and a chance to be the most dominant team of all time, I would try my absolute hardest to be the most dominant team of all time.

ANY COACH WHO WOULDN'T DOESN'T DESERVE TO KEEP HIS JOB!

So who out there would rather have;

1. A nice coach who "maybe" could have had the most dominant team ever, but didn't want to do because he'd hurt people's feelings?

2. A coach who saw that he had perhaps the best team ever assembled and decided to try and become the best team ever and could care less about hurting peoples poor wittle feelin's?

Which is it? 1 or 2?

the real question is who's the luckiest guy on the planet? i think its belichick,
got welker traded to him for nothing, got moss traded to him for nothing, got caught cheating and barely got a fine that affects this season,

he's like steinbrenners son's, born lucky

Not at all. I am totally in favor of a scorched earth policy but I posted how 'others' (media/pundits/fans of other teams) view the Patriots. I think it is a very close analogy of how to end an spygate discussions by running roughshod over the rest of the league and send a message that says clearly
"we don't need any special help to destroy the opposition" and will stop at nothing until we achieve our goal.
We see Belichick/Sherman as the means to achieve our goals while others dislike/hate them for their methods.
I'm hoping that the Pats crack half a hundred in all their remaining games and toast the Jets by 75 in their December visit to Gillette. I apologize if my message was lost in translation and hope this clears it up.

To be fair, the Patriots have more veterans (1 - Kyle Eckel) on their team than the Colts (0).

Nice try Colts fan in disguise!

It was obvious since all Pats fans know it's 100% genius. Unlike Dungy who possesses nothing but a great QB!

P.S. Cut the crap with the fake screen name. Your 5 post total and critical comments make it obvious to everyone. No Patriots fan joins this site and makes critical comments from the get-go!

You're embaressing yourself!

I find this quote befitting Belichik and his relationship with his players:

"Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys.

Look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death!"

the X factor is going to be that special coach we hired to tape other teams defensive signals, come on guys, we all know that, go pats

i love how even though belichick handed in the evidence, we all know he still has copies at home

hey guys, i was just wondering if belichek started taping the colts calls yet? cause its monday already, we should start gettin on that

yeah its great, the 200 point differential is especially sweet when we know exactly what the defence is going to do."
