Some early pick lists from the 'experts'

Qadry Ismail - colts - off/def/coaching all better than pats . Cots D will step up and make plays.
Eric Allen - Colts- Bob sanders and freeny and co will make enough plays to win this game
Deion Sanders - Veteran Team -pats
Mariucci - Veteran Team -pats

edit:
schelreth-pats -welker is the key diff
merriill hoge-colts

How the heck do the colts have better coaching? or a Better anything? I'm sorry kids, but if you actually watch the colts play a game, they sleep almost the entire first half. You can sleep against teams like carolina or N.O. but if you do it with the Patriots, you're gonna be in for a rude awakaning when you wake up and the score is like 38-0.

I really don't understand how these supposed experts are picking the Dolts. Especially with the idea the coaching staff is better. Really? The same coaching staff that's only won 1 ring... that got run out of Tampa for not being able to finish? That coaching staff?

Silly. It's silly. I don't even think the Colts will be all that competative. I think it'll be over by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Bet the freakin over.:rocker:

No...you are kidding me? Merril Hoge picked the Colts over the Pats??? Who would have guessed that...<sarcasm>...he is such a freaking tool...I am really surprised that Schlereth picked the Pats...he usually picks against them too.

Ditka - colts.

That jerk Schelreth has no right to be on the Pat's bandwagon. How dare he pick us?

you call those dummies experts??

It's not a personal affront to all things patriots when someone has the "crazy" notion that they might not win this game

Laurence Malroney will be the X factor, IMHO. The Colts play Cover 2, and they can't stop the run.

If I were JM, I would start off running the ball, and then start throwing once the safeties cheat to the LOS.

One thing which is irritating me is the disparity between black and white pundits in their picks, or bias, just because of Tony Dungy.

maybe the "experts" are picking with the spread. Last I heard the pats were favored. lol

And you're basing this accusation on what, exactly?

Umm, Mike Ditka and Merrill Hoge are Black?

And Deion Sanders is white?

they wont run the ball much. iam very sure of it. BB doesnt go with that logic of ball control like other teams play indy.He plays to score points whether it by passing or running. His philosophy is to throw the ball to score pts .It has hurt us in the past but i dont see it changing because the rhythm of the offense is via the passing game.

They will run out of the spread offense. The whole key will be to get Sanders out of position. Part of this plan is running the ball out of the spread. I would expect to see a lot of Faulk - all in all I would expect a plan like we saw against the Skins.

Gimme a break. It's so weak basing this on race. The sixties are over, man.

Agree. Keep the Colts in nickel/dime packages and spread the rock around. Really hope Watson is back for this game since the Pats can do so much with him...chip Freeney/Mathis, block Sanders (novel idea), attack the seam, sit in the holes in the cover 2, TE screens, etc.

I look for a lot of RB/TE screens and fake reverses/screens to try and counter the speed of the Colts D. With 1 or 2 LBs off the field to protect against the deep ball, the Colts should be relatively vulnerable in that 5-10 yard range in the 2nd level. If the Pats can get people with the ball in space, they should be able to chew up some solid yards...especially if the downfield receiver blocking is any good.

Why is it so shocking that people are picking the 7-0, defending champion, Indianapolis Colts? AT the RCA Dome?
