well..read the caption. this is ESPN being themselves. They are painting a picture of the pats as bad and it suits them fine to sell stories for this week.he doesnt even know if the pats QB sneaked on 4th down or threw a TD. and no one bothered to correct him.

ESPN on the whole sucks. Mark Slereth is just an intern trying to get noticed in 6 months he'll be gone.

I wish that was true, but he has been there a while and hasn't left yet. BTW, he hates the Colts too. So he should have to swallow some pride to hype either team in this game.

watching him and hoge etc it seems these shows pre decide who is going to pick who to create a discussion and controversy regardless of what they think themselves.

Are you kidding me? Schlereth has been an avid Patriot supporter all year. You guys just can't handle the truth. The guy is an ex player and he knows about the integrity of the game. I'm not posting this to stir the pot, but he is a HUGE NE supporter so to say he hates NE because he's got the balls to speak the truth is just sour grapes. With that said, good luck next weekend. Here's to a good, clean, injury free game.

I've always enjoyed Schlereth's comments, even a few years ago when they were not exactly Patriots-centric. He is a supporter from what I can tell, but who said that supporters are supposed to not think like an individual?

Who cares if he doesn't buy into the Koolaid? I'd rather see them stay off the Koolaid. When they say something complimentary, it will mean more.

well ..he was the first idiot to say that the videotaping signals had an effect on the same game where we match up the signals in half time and figure out opposing defenses in the 2nd half. After a while he forgot about it.
