Ryan, your posts I actually read as they are not meant to irritate or inflame us,that being said, its once again painfully obvious that the Pats and the Colts are two teams on a higher plane than the rest of the NFL.Of course,it only takes a few injuries to drop any team down like an express elevator.Lets hope this does not happen to either team next week,it should be a good game.

Or, yanno, we could hope it happens to the Dolts! :D

Colts by 10.

Randy...meet Bob. Randy grows alligator arms...
Will be good. Will be very VERY loud...late start game, crowd will be ready.

And then you'll wake up when your team is down by three touchdowns with five minutes left and Peyton throws another pick...

I hope he tries to cover Randy, that means he'll be out of the box and the Pats will run. Randy has like 9 inches on Sanders. That is an unfair matchup IMO

Yea, we heard the same thing this week about Sean Taylor. Please. Randy doesn't get hit because Brady doesn't make his recievers lay out for a catch.

You sound like a Redskins fan "Randy...meet Sean." And they have more than one good safety. I'm sorry if I'm not scared.

I could have sworn the last few times we played, it'd be the biggest game between the two clubs. But now?

7-0 vs 8-0

Brady vs Manning

BB vs Dungy

Moss vs Harrison

The perceived "Good Guys" vs "Bad Guys"

What happens when the irresistible force meets an immovable object?

This is gunna be one heck of a football game. Congrats on 8-0 and here we go.

Strength in numbers right Ryan?. Here comes the "Game of the Year" of the week. Is it Sunday yet?

They won't use Bob to "cover" Randy per se, but will use him to help double or lay the wood in zone coverage.

I for one cant wait for this week and all of the hype of this game to be done and to just line up and have a great game.

I have NEVER EVER looked forward to playing the colts during this era, but I am truely and honestly looking forward to this game like no other!

Jerome Bettis picks the Colts because, "[He doesn't] know if the Patriots can run the ball." :bricks:

Jerome Bettis picks the Colts because the Colts didn't beat him twice in the AFCCG in his house.

Krugman, you are much bigger man than me. I would love to see a Manning sandwich with Vrabes and Rosie providing the wheat. I am STILL upset about last season's loss and won't feel better unless we demolish the Colts. I know we will win, but it needs to be better than that.

I hear you. I t would be nice if I could just Tivo the whole week's worth of TV and Radio coverage to skip the hype and hit the game.

Here's to a good game and no injuries.

BTW, I think it's fitting that I will hit 1000 posts in Patriots/Colts week.

Biggest game of the year... until these two teams meet in the AFC Championship. Of course, this game could determine where they meet...

Won't THAT game be something?!

17-0 vs 16-1.

Manning is going to have to play the game of his career for the Colts to hav the slightest chance.

42-17 Pats IMHO.

Ryan-As a long-time lurker (and not so frequent poster), I have always enjoyed your posts. It ALMOST makes hating the Colts a little more difficult.

I am really looking forward to the game. I don't think that Dallas Clark will be having a career day against us.

Pats 35 Colts 21

Finally a (potentially) worthy adversary. If the Colts can beat the Pats I will take my hat off to them. I think they will definitely tell us about the true state of our defense. Seems to me that our D always starts slow and steadly builds until the end of the year. Having Seymour back will be huge and I can't help but think that maybe he was healthy enough to start the season but BB wanted to make sure he'd get arguably his best defensive player back at 100%.

I think the value of this game is clear, it will most likely determine who will finish with homefield advantage and likely the location of the AFC Championship. I wish the Colts luck. Our D is fully healthy for the first time since I can remember and our offense is putting together an epic season that will bascally erase any doubt about the Manning/Brady debate. I really respect the speed of the Colts defense and I will respect them monumentally more if they can stop us. I really just don't see how it can happen. Peyton will put up three tds. Brady will put up six. Pats 42-21.

This is going to be the longest work week...ever. Well, at least since the week before the AFCCG last year. My loins are quivering in anticipation.

I hope it's close. At least until the 4th quarter.

This good vs. evil thing is complete BS and you know it.

How about we call it the whiners vs. the nonwhiners.
In his defense, he did say "percieved" good vs evil meaning he was just spitting back what others have called it, but takes this with a grain of salt.

The perceived "Good Guys" vs "Bad Guys"

Kind of hard on your own team there, aren't you? Everyone knows Darth Polian is a neurotic, whining jerk and Martin Luther Dungy is a sanctimonious phony, but as a Colts fan I'd think you'd defend them regardless.
